GL was not even born in America, Ping is wrong, period. Stewart is African American by race, he is American born and raised. GL is South African and would be a citizen if he applied/passed his tests or married a US citizen. GL will never be African American.
Bullshit.

He's no more AFRICAN than I am Scot.

He's a black American. I'm a white American.

If all you PC bullshitters are so worried about this, then I want to see you refer to EVERY fucking white american as a Euro American in the future.

Then I'll give you "African American."

Get a clue....

Black American/African American--same thing. His ancestors are probably African, just like yours Scot. What do you have on your office paperwork? My guess is that you have African American, NOT Black American.

Not sure but I think his point is your are were you live. It's easy for you. You were probably born in and grew up in DEU with DEU parents and grandparents way down the line. Not so for AMERICANS.

Just observing a race pimp at work. So, what's on that birth certificate? Is it Negro or African American? There's your answer. Embrace the truth.

Not true. Not all Black Americans are from Africa.

Dear Racer X,

Who is more African-American: James Stewart or Grant Langston?

Paul Nash

Dear Paul,

Here's the answer to question #1

The answer to your first question is Grant Langston. James Stewart is an American; nothing more and nothing less. I don’t go around telling people that I’m a Norwegian-English-American. If James was born in Zimbabwe and could speak in that odd bush language with all the pops and clicks then I might give him the African-American thing. But the only thing popping and clicking on James now is going to be his knee. Langston, on the other hand, was actually born and raised in Africa. He only got his green card a few years ago, so GL could definitely be considered an African-American, or a South African-American.

PING

Ping just showed how ignorant he is to the history of black people in this country and the history of the word. Just MHO.

For those too ignorant to comprehend, I was born in 1955, most likely it say's Negro, had I been born yesterday like you, I'd say Black/ African American. I suppose you still refer to Blacks as Negroes, this is not the 50's, I suggest you get you head and ass wired together, or you'll be standing tall before the man...

Lenny I don't know what you refer to yourself as in polite conversation? I wouldn't refer to myself as a African American any more than you'd probably want to call yourself a Spanish American. You were born in the USA just like I was. That makes us both American Citizens or simply AMERICAN. Why isn't that enough?

Most likely? I'd bet the farm it says Negro and yeah, I do refer to Blacks as either Blacks or Negroes. What's Roger DeCoster got to do with this and why do I have to stand before him? My head and ass (as you put it) are wired perfectly together. I see things for what they are, not what others want them to be.

You can't get anymore dumber than this, everybody "only" became "Americans" after 9/11, and CR500 calling Blacks Negroes only shows your country ass backwoods roots...

I don't know how "whitey" would feel about such a derogatory term.

BS. Plain and simple. Why is it always dumb or ass backwards country when you don't agree with a race pimp? As for being called Caucasion, I have been, many times. It didn't bother me at all because that's what I am. You are a Negro. That doesn't make me stupid to realize what race you are, it makes you stupid to deny what race you are. If you didn't deny it, we wouldn't be having this discussion. And to set things straight, I've been an American for 41 years. 9/11 didn't change that. Like your tag line says "Al Sharpton of Motodrive". I think that explains everything that needs explaining about you.

I've been American since 1971 (birth) myself. Around here we just call each other Black and White people.

Ping's wrong . Stewart is an American , Langston is a South African. Which country were you born in ? That's what you are.
