Ever met Andy before? He acts like a jackass on tv sometimes, but he is as nice of a guy as you will ever meet. No joke. Spent alot of time with him at O'gio jumping bmx bikes into the foam pits, and even played poker with him and Erin a few years back.

Erin has one of the toughest jobs on the planet. She is trying to be a journalist/reporter in a male dominated sport . . . and one of the WORST in terms of sexist / racist / immature attitudes. We (fans/wannabes) are some of the most judgmental a-holes on earth.

I think she is doing pretty dang good considering all that.

You're a jerkoff. Andy's a great guy, one of the best. He came here from Canada with a bunch of other FMX guys and got hurt badly at the first FMX contest that PACE held, up in Fresno. I was a judge there and Andy was already in a wheelchair the first time I met him. He had flat-landed after a big ramp hit during practice, separating his fib/tib from his knees on both legs...gnarly!

He could have gone home to heal up and would probably still be stuck in Canada, but instead he sucked it up and stayed, rolling around in a wheelchair while his pals competed and ended up working for the promoter doing anything he could. He made lots of friends because he's a lot of fun to be around and a good guy. He healed up and was one of the only riders I became friends with, because I made it a point not to befriend any so I'd stay impartial...but I really couldn't help liking Andy and he's been a good friend to me and just about everyone else in the industry, so you shouldn't talk smack about people you obviously do not know.

Perfectly stated, especially about the immature attitude part.

Yes, Supercross needs to figure out how to degrade women even more.

Maybe this is how we can do it, we can bag on the ones who are out there working their asses off trying to make our viewing experience a little better.
