Now that we have had time to see them both battle on 450's....
How would have RV done against JS in his 125 days on his PC 250f.
or
To make it more fair (although I think James still would have one) JS on his 125 with RV on a 250f from that era.
James ruled on the 125.
RC Ruled on everything but James would have beet him on 125's.

RV is a great racer, but James in the 125 class was the shit. There is no way around that.
Also, please if you know of a national where RC set lap times faster than the 250 class let us know, because I have no idea what race that would be. RC was good in the 125 class, but he didn't get to the level he was at during the later years of his career until he hit the 250/450 class. That's just MHO.

Bob "Hurricane" Hannah, Broc "The Golden Boy" Glover, Mark "The Bomber" Barnett, Johnny "O'Show" O'Mara, Ron "The Machine" Lechien, Doug Henry, Steve "Lammy" Lamson, Ricky "RC" Carmichael, James "Bubba" Stewart, Ryan "RV" Villopoto..... all else being equal (modern day bike, all saw the sport progress, fitness, technology, diet)..... throw the names in a hat and pick one. All were bad asses on the tiddler bike.
Easily can say that Lamson was by far the fastest 125 racer when he beat everyone (including big bores) at the MXDN.
Post a reply to: Better Question RV 250 JS 125???
