Josh Boaz Signs with AVL Husqvarna OG’s Race Team
FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE:
Josh Boaz joins AVL Husqvarna OGs Moto Race Team for the 2026 Triple Crown Series
The AVL Husqvarna OGs Moto Race Team is thrilled to announce the signing of talented American racer Josh Boaz for the upcoming 2026 Canadian Makita Triple Crown Series.
Boaz, known for his smooth but aggressive riding style, and rapidly growing presence in the motocross scene, brings a fresh wave of energy and determination to the squad. The American rider has made waves in last seasons Triple Crown 450 class and is poised to make a significant impact on the national stage aboard the team’s championship-caliber Husqvarna FC 250.
“I’m extremely excited to join the AVL Husqvarna OGs Moto Race Team,” said Boaz. “The team’s professionalism, quality race bikes, and family like atmosphere immediately feels like the right fit. I can’t wait to line up for the 2026 Triple Crown Series and push myself and my bike to the absolute limit.“
Team Manager Kyle Snelgrove of AVL Husqvarna OGs expressed equal enthusiasm:
“Josh is exactly the type of rider we want representing our program. He’s hungry, talented, and brings a great personality to the team. We’re confident that with the support of the team and the capabilities of the Husqvarna race bikes, Josh will be a strong podium contender throughout the Triple Crown Series.”
The 2026 Triple Crown Series represents a premier motocross championship featuring multiple rounds across Canada. Boaz will compete with the iconic #27, riding a fully branded AVL Husqvarna machine.

It was 100% looking like this would be the last National in Calgary with Wildrose being told 2026 would be there last year at the current location.
In a twist no one saw coming, the City just told the club that they would now be able to operate until the end of 2027. Good chance we could see a National in Calgary in 2027.

What happened to Vincent Wey second moto? 12th?
He laid it down going into a left-hand corner. Got back up, bike didn't want to start, or the front brake completely locked up and wouldn't release.
Went down off the start.
42 riders tried to qualify for the 250 class, 24 in the 450’s. Not a good reflection of the state of MX in Canada at the moment.
Any video recaps?
I hope for him that it’s a front brake issue because he’s had quite a few engine failure in a short timespan I think. Gopher, Issoudun and now this, plus some struggle at the practice track that I have seen.
I thought Boaz was supposed to be 450?
Just read back. He should be 450. But he'll do just as good in 250 no doubt.
Turns out when he laid it down a rider ran into the back of him and hit the kill switch causing damage.
