Yesterday was a bad day for me. The anxiety and stress had been building up over the past couple of weeks and it really hit me yesterday. I don't really have anyone to talk to here. My real good mates have all past on. It's also no good that I bottle shit up, as at some point, it hits me hard.
Life is just one big grind. Long days and when it's time to sleep, the worrying and stress take over.
I'm trying my hardest to keep cherishing the few good things that life has to offer, which ain't easy when the shit just keeps hitting from every which way.

What is your plan? If you don’t have one, get one. Put it in writing, consult experts, and share with those who can help. Without a concrete strategy nothing will change. Sounds harsh at first, but it’s true. I’ve loved all of our pets through the years, but if my children were in danger and I could get them out of danger but I’d have to give my pets up? Not even a second thought……
So using race to make decisions about emigration from foreign countries is good, but using it to help correct generations of disparities in hiring, college opportunities, and voting representation is evil?
If race-conscious government policies are objectionable, what principle makes a race-specific refugee program different?

Refugee law already allows asylum based on racial persecution. The question isn’t whether persecuted people should be helped. The question is why an administration that argues race should never be considered is suddenly emphasizing race as a qualification.
If the standard is racially or ethnically targeted violence, then South Africa is nowhere near unique. Sudanese from Darfur, Rohingya from Myanmar, Uyghurs from China, Yazidis from Iraq/Syria, Tigrayans or Amhara from Ethiopia, Congolese ethnic minorities, and South Sudanese groups would all have at least as strong, and often much stronger, claims. So the question remains: why this group, and why now?
Perhaps we’ll never know the answer to that honestly.
But, who was one of Trumps biggest supporters during elections?
