The guy has had some tough injuries and is still one of the top ten in the world, thats impressive to me. There is a lot of very fast guys this year.

No worries man, Davi IMO is a better sx rider than outdoors, kinda hard to rank himsx/mx because the 250 riders are really fast also, The only euro s that i think are faster than Davi are Musquin, Roxcen, the outdoors is a whole group of fast dudes! Herlings, daselle, Cairioli,Gautlin, etc! Still top 15/20 in the world at sx is nothing to hang your head about LOL! Seems like he s over the whole riding thing sometimes! Don t know his finances or what his life plan is,stay in the industry, or maybe get out of the indusrty all together, if he has any other interests to pay bills!

He also said in a recent interview it doesn't affect him at all so...

BTW, Reed didn't start testing until November.


Don't get me wrong, I want Davi to do well but he does seemingly portray a lack of heart and desire, at least on the surface, which sucks because I feel he's one of the most naturally talented riders out there.

I don´t get this. Cutler is 4 time Mr. O, Davi hasn´t won a championship since Lites.
Also, Cutlers body is in better condition.
My conclusion: body building is better for you than mx/sx

IMHO i thinks its because of the fact he was pushed so hard as an amateur that he has never had a chance to really live a life outside of motocross. He obviously didnt take the JLAW gung ho aproach of rebellion, he seems to just silently and effortlessly (literally), accept the paychecks and with his only goal being to finish the races, and find an excuse.

sorry for the negativity, but it is kinda disappointing, he has so many chances to suck. Sure he won a race, but Cody Cooper damn near did as well, after one bad year, he was out.

Did sports reporters play quarterback in that game with cutler? No, but they still report on it and give opinion. The above guy is writing his opinion. Who's to say he is wrong? RV2 had a nasty injury and look at him.... I thought it was pretty lame when at round 2 Phoenix they already had an excuse about davi's diet?? True or not it didnt make him look good considering he used the diet excuse last season as well. BTW i wish Davi all the best, but the excuses need to end sometime.

I get tired of hearing guys make excuses and feel sorry for DM.
Bottom line is, he gets paid big bucks to do what we do for a hobby.
Imo, It's been obvious for some time he's just cashing a check.

I'd say it's a lot like the NFL, almost every guy out there is nursing some kind of injury by the end of the season. They just tough it out and don't talk about it.

Is it too much to ask a guy to put out 100% effort?
