Is there a way to raise the bars 4-5mm using PHDS on a KTM (actually Ride Eng. triple clamps)? Looking at the design it does not appear so, but worth checking.
I just tried the Ride Eng. bar mounts which are 5mm taller than the PHDS. I like the extra height, but the PHDS absorb vibration better. I was using the yellow elastomers in the RE mounts. The red are supposedly firmer and I assume they wouldn’t absorb vibration better but I may try them.
Or, are there other mounts that absorb well?
There are shims that are specifically for this. I think when buy the PHDS new you get the shims and longer bolts included.
We have our new Nexus bar mounts that have significantly better shock and vibration absorption, but the ones to fit KTM cone clamps are the same height as stock.
I don't know of anyone making a riser shim for the KTM (or any manufacturer's) cone style bar mounts. It's certainly possible, but not something we're really interested in messing with. That's one of the reasons why our clamps use a different bar mount interface as it allows for a simple riser kit to give a bunch of different heights.
The more look into it, I don’t think the PHDS for the KTM can be adjusted. The cone that fits into the triple clamp is machined in. If you know of a way, I’d happily be wrong.
My bad. I assumed you had the complete xtrig triple clamps. I now understand what you are asking about. My information is for the PHDS on xtrigs.

On another note, the Luxon rear knuckle and link arm I just installed are excellent. A real improvement to the rear of the KTM/Husky. A little softer feeling everywhere, no issue with bottoming, and significantly smoother on sharp acceleration bumps. I went 1/4 turn out on high speed and 2 clicks out on low speed to start. Didn’t see any reason to change from there.
