...trying to keep up with Jett.
I like Deegan and wish him all the best but for anyone thinking, including Deegs himself, that he gonna slide into Jett's pace, it ain't happening this year....or next year..
Deegan will hurt himself racing Jett.
He is a journeyman in the big boy class and will need to build himself up to Jett's level.
There is no way Deegs is rolling in and taking down Jett down whilst Jett is in his prime.
EDIT - I like Deegan and don't wish him to hurt himself, hence the title change.
Jett came in as a “journeyman” and people said he needed time to be a great, and then he went 22-0 his rookie year.
I’m not a Haiden fan when his helmet is off or his mouth is moving, but I think he will be fine. I don’t think he will be consistently racking up or contending for wins right off rip, but he will be competitive and address his weaknesses as soon as they become apparent. Regardless of how you feel about him personally, his grit, speed, and unwavering determination will lead him to a successful career. There’s enough smart people around him that won’t let him implode, but I’m sure he will have some learning experiences.
Opinions aside, I kind of hope he comes out and lays the wood to everyone. This place would be ridiculously entertaining.

I just hope he stays healthy enough for some epic battles throughout the season. That goes for the other guys as well, I don't want to see any of the top talent sidelined due to injury. It should be a great series for us spectators this year, in both the 250 and 450 classes.

This year is gonna be EPIC… Jett wanting to stay on top, Hunta wanting to prove a couple of things, Sexton wanting some redemption, Eli wanting one more title, Deegan wanting to prove he belongs at the pointy end, Coenens looking to size up next years competition, Webb hoping to be in the mix for his final year, Malcolm auditioning for a ride next year, same with JB51. We say it every year, but this is the year we will be talking about 10 years from now ! Let’s Fucking Go !

I mean, nobody wants to admit they ate nine cans of ravioli, but I did. I'm ashamed of myself. The first can doesn't count, then you get to the second and third, fourth and fifth I think I burnt with the blowtorch, and then I just kept eatin.
Jett is in a much worse spot coming into this series.

All valid...except for the Webb comment. The Outdoor Warrior can hope all he wants, but with everyone healthy he'll barely scrape into the top ten.
Jett, Hunter, Eli, Chase, Prado, Sexton, Donger, JCoop, Barcia, Ferrandis - that's ten right there.
At any rate the ol' Outdoor Warrior will be chilling on one of the comfy plastic seats at McDonalds and out of the series well before the final round.

The last two times Jett hurt himself was just pure bad luck. His ACL was just a foot dab coming out of a corner and his latest injury was a false neutral which he had no choice but to jump...
Anyways, I can't wait for PALA.
The time off the bike still adds up the same.
