Saw this movie a few days ago, all I can say is--WOW! 😲

Stating the obvious, Michael Jackson was obscenely talented--one of a kind, there'll never be another one like him. But he also worked hard to perfect his craft, which he accomplished.

I had heard his Dad was a tyrant, but had no idea he was this bad. Some of the Jackson family collaborated in the film, so I'm sure some of it was not too far off.

I thoroughly enjoyed watching this movie and the music scenes were great. The actor Jafaar Jackson (his nephew!) did a fantastic job.

During the seventies and eighties, I was mostly a hardcore Rock and Roll fan and never cared much for the Jackson Five. But once Thriller came out, that is when I learned to appreciate how great Michael's music really was.

And here I thought this was going to be a call to ML to clean up the board. 🤣

I did hear it was a good movie.

He had an illness called Vitiligo, where it causes severe pigmentation patches and discoloration throughout the skin. So rather than having discoloration all over he decides to just bleach his skin the same color. The plastic surgery however I think was just cuz he didn’t like how he looked

Saw the movie twice. Its amazing. Could have easily been 6 hours long and I would've say thru every minute of it. Its still in theaters and they're already saying they're going to do a sequel to finish the story. And I hope they do! Grew up with listening and watching MJ. Always loved his dance moves. There will be NO ONE ever in the rest of human history to be as famous as Michael. He died 17 years ago, this biopic has been at the top of the movie charts for 4 weeks straight. And now Billie Jean is #1, at the TOP of the Global 200 Billboard chart and Beat It is #5. Not one active performer right now can beat him, and 17 years after they're dead they will never hit the top 100 chart ever again. NO ONE is ever going to be Michael Jackson famous, other than Jesus.

The talent he had was off the charts and it was good to see his nephew do such a good impression of him.

I did not look up whose son he is but what was weird was there was no mention of Janet jackson in there.

No mention of Janet? How the hell is that possible?

Hard to tell, if you're being sarcastic or not..... 😂

So anyway. Of course his four brothers were heavily part of the movie and his sister LaToya was kinda in the background every now and then.

There was NO JJ sighting which I thought was odd because she did have a short burst of a career.

Matter of fact, one of her music videos was filmed at my uncle's liquor store in downtown LA.

I texted my cousin to send me the link. My uncle's store was in the heart of downtown LA it was open 24/7. There was no way for it to close as it was wide open. 😳

He's seen in the background around the 1:50 mark blue plaid shirt.

After my dad saw how successful uncle sal was he too bought a liquor store a few miles west of downtown L.A. It to became successful for my parents that was until the rodney king riots and it was burnt down. 🤬

She wanted nothing to do with the movie, so she prohibited the use of her story or likeness in any way, shape or form.

Lot's of bad blood and animosity in that family.

That is kind of what I thought even though I did not know any of that info of what you just said.

There always seems to be that one person in family's that alienates them from the rest of their siblings or parents.

My oldest brother is like that and it's sad to me and something I will never understand.

One of the rare movies I’d like to see again right way.

I’m thinking the way it ended there will be a second part to his story.

I would rank this at the top of MTV awards banquet performances.

It's sad what happened to him, but a lot of people might forget that his hair caught fire doing that Pepsi commercial and that resulted in a painful recovery and also being prescribed a LOT of painkillers with that crooked doctor.

It was propofol a powerful anesthetic, to help him sleep and then left him unattended, was his demise.
