This feels like the first year since 2018 where we genuinely don’t know who the next champion will be.
At the end of 2018, you could make a case for AC, but he wasn’t an overwhelming, clear-cut favorite. After that, it’s been pretty predictable—Ferrandis was the expected guy and delivered, then Jett took over like everyone thought he would, Hunter after Jett, and then Deegan predictably won the next 2.
2026 is the first time in a while where it actually feels wide open again.
I have this feeling that Shimoda could be dominate this outdoor season with the prep he's getting and healing up. I agree, it's going to be interesting
Jo
I'm with Team Green on this one, Jo.
Could Honda go 1-2 in both classes this year?
450 - Jett/Hunter
250 - Jo/Chance

I feel like its now or never for Jo and he should be the slight favorite IF healthy.
Cole will be better than people think
Damn well could, then add in the fact that I switched from a yz450 to a crf450we and that means a Honda could potentially land around 4-7 in the 40B class at mammoth this summer. I’m sure Honda would be pumped if this all plays out!
Jo didn't have the best SX season with his little prep time, but outdoors when the motos get long and the track gets torn up Jo is just so good at grinding away, and his best speed always arrives at the end.
