Why is African American such a big deal? If that's what they want...let them have it!
Shit, I sure has hell wouldn't want to be labeled "African" anything. That country is 150 years behind every other nation in the world. But, if a group wants to have the label of a country that SOLD them into slavery...let them have it!!!!
I think we learned pretty early on that Africa is a continent, not a country.....

Yeah who?, history is full of lies, you know it and so do I, I wasn't there so I couldn't tell you, they had no problem accepting those slaves either, WTF do you think those boats were there anyway?, you've once again turned this thread to shit with your inbred mentality, it was about Black racers, not Black slaves...

Lenny,
I'm just fish'n. I don't take things seriously like adults should do. I even like slave trade just as much as a black man enjoys it. All we did was relocated it in other countries and even the African Americans love it. I like diamonds, gold and even chocolate. I also like sneakers and affordable clothing. All these products are made with slave labor but the best thing about it is that it is not visible and we can pretend slavery doesn't exist. Remember when black children were killing other black children over the Chicago Bulls jackets? Those fine jackets were made with slave labor. PDub supports slave labor but there's no mention of that in RacerX. Again, I'm just fish'n with my Zebco emotion pole. It's only good for three casts before the spinner breaks apart. I bet it was made with cheap slave labor.

HOLY EFFING SHITE!!!

What is WRONG with you people?
DId anyone white in here think to ask a Black man what he thinks? Here is my 2 cents.
Call me naive but I bellieve if the rest of the WP were like my moto homies slavery and Jewish holocaust never wouldve happened. AM I the only Black guy in here who had White friends that took him riding because he was too poor to afford his own bike, whose mom and dad treated him like he was their "other son?" WTF? In over 30 years of associating with moto peeps only twice have I heard the "N word hurled at me or anyone else for that matter. Once by a girl early in my riding days who probabaly only wanted to see how I would react. Her boyfriend turned 16 shades of colors (and they call Black peeps colored?) out of embarrassment. The other time was at a Unadilla USGP when rednecks were allowed to ruin the thing with drunken frivolity. Me and several white dudes were perched atop some scaffolding, a serious nazi looking dude climbed up and kicked everyone off, I shoudlve seen the white dudes jumping off as a clue to leave also but being young n dumb I challenged this a**hole. He called me the "N" word and physically threw me off a 10 foot scaffold. Common sense kicked in when I could see this guy probably didnt even like his own mother and wanted to hurt someone.

Back to the point, Albertijn (the correct spelling) and Langston ARE African/Americans, but not by US standards. In the US A/A are a reference to Black people. In S/A they do it different, more by the land of your birth. Albee once when he was new to the US waved me over as a journalist when he saw my hesitation at approaching him. He knew that as a Black person and knowing where he was from wouldve understandably made me nervous. He waved ME over to him, and I am glad because in 5 minutes he proved my theories were right, motocross and her people are always above the bulls**t of the rest of the world and that not all S/A people are racist a**holes. Albee is da bomb. GL too.

Andy Jefferson shouldve had a factory ride, lesser guys got help. So too for David McLain who finished in the top ten of the 500 Nats back in the day. A White rider from D34 where I race also named David McLean (pronounced the same) and he became great friends since when the announcer would call the name to the tower, both riders would show up. :-) I loved that because it showed me again that motocross and sport in general transcend the little things and the little people.

Now quit this bickering and go ride for God's sake.

Just to confuse things, I lived in Africa, and there are plenty of white Africans. I raced against some of them. Some of them were born there.
Are they European-Africans? I guess they are.

This post is worst than the O.J. trail, a simple question has turned into a racist blog. The answer is James'Bubba' Stewart,jr.

Now if we could get P and Lenny to be more like Easywriter...

I am friends with a few black dudes, I don't call them black or african american I call them by their names...

Either way I don't think this thread was intended to be a racial issue, and I would say langston is a South African-American.

P what makes me a dumbass? The fact that you and lenny come on here raising hell over this type of stuff really says a lot about your character. You'll be back here to bash me some more, and really I could give 2 shits less what you have to say about me. You are as racist as any "white" guy calling a "black" guy something derogatory. Its the same shit always with you.

Lets really get the thread moving "African American" was designed to describe the black people in America whose origins stem to slavery in the USA. So technically, a black person born in Africa who moves to America would be classified as "Black African," "African," or just "Black." Honestly though what does this thread solve? James Stewart is still the fastest most talented rider on the planet and the only ones that would disagree are those that never have seen him ride healthy and racism still goes on today.
