I found a couple of years ago that my ceiling fans, the ones with the ‘digital motors”, caused some background interference during broadcast.

If that were the case, it would be an isolated incident vs. something reported by multiple users in multiple locations with multiple ISPs using multiple devices to watch.

This is a production issue.

I've been learning Australian thanks to Diffy and Screech.   It's basically English except you replace the first vowel in each word with the last vowel in the same word, then 50% of the time sub  D to "J" and O to "OR"

"Jistin Barcia riding the new foctory Jucati".
"I was tilking to Handor HRC taam menager Lars Lorndstrim and he saad that thiir [insert 3rd party] , [insert irrelevant information]".

"muricans" telling people how to speak "english"!!! Y'all been butchering English longer than  than us Keewee's and those filthy Aussie's across the Tasman over there to my left.

In movies and TV in the USA, they love to use an accent to add depth to a character.   We're trained from an early aged to hear accents and employ stereotypes.   I'm sure this is the production team's strategy as well, because Diffy and Will offer nothing other than their accents.

Australian stereotype: rugged and romantic,
British stereotype: intellectual and sophisticated.

I think they fixed the issue! I didn't hear it in Birmingham. I may have just tuned it out after all this time, but when I tried to listen for it, I heard no noise.

I didn’t either. Thank you to whomever fixed it!

Sounds like some sort of device vibrating at a high frequency, perhaps an elongated shape based on the resonance, and then a dulled/muffled tone indicating it may be stuck inside of something.  Super weird. Is it only Diffy's mic picking it up?   I have a hypothesis......

Interesting that the mystery sound was gone when Diffy wasn't there!

Thats just Ricky

Yep, definitely something to do with RC - he's not commentating in the booth so we have to assume he's doing something up there...
