POLICE used a stun gun on a naked man who refused to come out of a roof cavity he had been hiding in at a house in Western Australia.
Police were called to the house in Hilton yesterday afternoon after a report of a man jumping a back fence.
Officers found a pair of jeans and when they searched the house, found a naked man hiding in among rafters in the roof cavity.
He refused to come down and began trying to smash through the roof to escape, police said.
Police, concerned he might be hurt if he jumped or fell the 6m to the ground, used a Taser stun gun on him.
He was brought down before being taken to Fremantle Hospital with minor injuries.
A 23-year -old Willagee man will appear in Fremantle Magistrates Court today charged with damaging property, stealing a motor vehicle; breach of bail and two counts of outstanding warrants.
