Kenny down 5 points

Would be happy if Eli, Hunter or Kenny won it, but Hunter has a few more years compared to Eli and Ken. I think this is Eli’s last chance to win a title, Kenny probably as well. When was the last time Kenny and Eli were in this great of a position to win a title?

Kenny’s on fire and peaking/winning as we got into these last 7 races (Detroit was “7 to go”, then he wins…dominates St Louis and now there’s 5 to go).

Think about it…speed, strength, nutrition…all of it appears to be in-line. He looks REALLY GOOD physically & on the bike. He simply seems to be on-point…just in time to close out the series.

This is awesome to see and let’s be honest, he’s still got a lot of work ahead of him…and I’m quite sure Hunter, Eli and Chase have plenty of thoughts on the matter, too.

I have to agree. Kenny always seemed to struggle with either health issues, setup woes, or mental toughness if you will. It really is something to see him have all his ducks in a row. Hard to root against someone that has the perseverance to keep at it for all of these years. Props to him and his camp for figuring it out. 

My mind is tellin me Tomac needs a 3rd to be at least equal to coop..but my body is tellin me kenny needs to put that kickstart dinosaur in the history books

Kenny has put himself right in the driver's seat for this title, but neither of Eli/Hunter are going to just hand it to him. It's going to be a very exciting finish to this season. I personally hope Chase can put himself together to get involved in the fight as a spoiler. What a shame, I haven't seen so much unrealized potential since James Stewart. Time is running out for him to get things figured out mentally after already wasting several years of his "prime".
