There are tons of riders who could be called "crash" as a nickname. Which one are you referring to?
“Crash Hampshire”.
I posted last year about his expected MXON performance, and the thumbers rained down. Could have swore one was Hampshire or his secret lover.😉
In all sewiusness I don’t tend to have personal dislikes against the riders, and admire their toughness and skill. (exceptions are the arses that think they have to knock someone down to win a race). Fact is most riders, like all us humans, have a pattern of behavior, (in this case performance), and rarely overcome it. Some of these guys are very likeable but they are likely to keep making the same mistakes. Its some of their fans that can be the true idiots due to the fact they are incapable of making mature objective observations.
