He's gonna have a steep and possibly painful learning curve. 2011 outdoor champion and unstopable indoor next year.

Unbelievable he didn't get clipped by another rider. That's some good luck.

I agree, but he's very young, and all assholes and elbows. It's going to take some time for this "very talented" kid to smooth out.

I really like the kid.

The bad starts are putting him in these situations... speed is there starts are not. once he gets them he will be golden.

I dunno, man. He had a decent start in the heat and then got repeatedly gobbled up by such notables as Marmont! I like Roczen and was surprised to see him struggle so much. I'd send him home in one piece while they've got the chance (assuming he's still in one piece).

What everyone saw tonight was a very fast, young German outdoor GP specialists with practically ZIP for SX exp. It'll take a while to get this SX circus thing down for him.
But like I said, he better follow the learning curve a bit better or he's gonna really hurt himself.

I realized after I posted it that he's going home. I think he's probably going home sooner than expected. But 2012 he wins everything here.
