"like to see him get a ride"

Why would he deserve "a ride"? Just curious.

I know Thomas s bike is a hopped up rmz,my point was he would nt do any better if he was on a factory bike! I bet he did nt put a penny of his own towards that bike , Mills scraped money together to get to races and did fairly well. Thomas is fast no doubt, i just made a comment on the whereabouts of Mills, no worries man!

Hes at home, here in NY. No bike for sx, nothing in place for nats either...Real bummer, the guy can just show up and finish mid pack with NO time to practice, let alone testing. I hang with him,his brother and parents a few times a week and they are great people, hopefully somthing comes his way again!

I think the state of the economy has a hand in that. Teams don't have a lot of cash to throw around for rides so when they do splurge they can't afford to be wrong. Giving these mid-pack guys rides is a safe move because at least their track record shows you can count on them to make the main.

In the Alli Sports video I did at Southwick, he mentioned if he had to do what he did last year, he wouldn't be doing this again. So we'll see. The guy can still haul.

That's not true. He had number 65 for a reason a couple years ago and I remember one race he got a top ten.

What's not true? He didn't score a single point last year on the 450 in 14 motos.

There's a difference between being a fill-in rider and having a ride from the beginning of the season. Don't compare apples to oranges.

If Kawi had a better option, he would be out there.

kid podiumed in the 450 class at steel city against the likes of RC, JS, KW and the rest and also won a moto at Red Bud in the lites class on a KTM. Riding has never been his problem.

Not to mention his time as a 16-17 year old wunderkind on the Factory Connection Honda team his rookie season.

was in the top 5 alot that year.

2nd place to Bubba the final year at Loretta's.

Sure it could have been better but Millsy laid the wood a few times against the best. Not every time but for sure a few times.

This was a good result as a full blown privateer!

Half the guys that finished ahead of him are now retired. That's great that he did well 4 years ago, but unfortunately people in the industry don't care what a rider did 4 years ago. It's about what that rider can do right now, and judging by his results last year, he's clearly not the same rider.

Mills has been around the better part of a decade and a portion of that was on some pretty good equipment. He had some success which is more than a lot of amateur prodigies can claim. But name the guy he should be replacing on any team that travels the circuit. You think he can beat Peick, Friese, Detrich, even Thomas? Sean Collier went out there on his own Kawi and laid wood to most of the field a few years ago and that didn't get him enough attention for a ride.

I don't think he deserves to get a ride or take anyones spot right now. Just saying the kid has talent and had some good results in the past. That's all.
