A lot of people think Alessi wasted (is wasting) two years of his career with KTM, Is Short doing the same? The 350 might be a terrific bike but it takes a special rider to make it work and compete with the 450's.

I think the 350 can do good in SX but not outdoors.

Yeah, it looks like Shorty and Mike are not anywhere near the speed you would think they would be. I'm blaming the bike at this point. Everyone knows where Shorty was consistently at last year.

10th and 14th ain't bad in that stacked field, new bike, new riders, like Roger said there were no references to go by they had to start from scratch. I'm not giving up on the KTM guys just yet, 100 more CC's would be nice though.... there were only 2 Kawasaki's in top 15....not sure what that means but ya i'll defend Mikey and Shorty to the end! Right now I just want 800 to stay healthy until outdoors.

Yea, Caroli really sucked last year outdoors. Also, who was NOT around last year that is here this year that is ahead of Shorty?

AC won a world championship on that 350 outdoors and chased Dungey around on one at the MXoN in the MX1-MX2 moto.
He also beat Ryan in Saturdays MXoN qually on one.

The Bike just needs a rider. They will have Dungey next Winter for SX. When KTM has a top rider sign with them and suck once he races the bike then the KTM haters can stand on there soap boxes,

IMO the 350 works just fine. AC dominated on it last summer.

A bike is only as good as Its rider.

Yeah - I agree that Short is a 7th - 10th rider in this field regardless if he is on a 450, but still not sold on the 350.

If you put Stewart on a 350 vs Stewart on a 450 - who are you betting on?
