JGR demands massive money from sponsoring in NASCAR so assume it was the same for MX. They expect to turn a profit racing Al were likely asking for a lot more money than HEP wants. Also a different time in the sport and the economy

2026 SX Team: KRoc-94, JA-21 (on sabbatical), Colt-45, and now JB-LegSwag-891 (sat out St Louis Main)...  ..nice.
St Louis photos below from RacerX:

...again, well done HEP...  ...errr...  ...PMG...  ...this team is getting it done.
Will KRoc keep this momentum going in Nashville?

They’ve had 250 riders

Never knew that. Always thought they were a 450 team.

That was Motorcycle SuperStore/Albertson Enterprise's Suzuki & was created (and subsequently folded) before HEP was even announced.

Osby/Cunningham/Worth/Albertson were the riders.

First race of that season, Worth nose picked a dragons back the second lap of free practice and never rode a Suzuki or supercross again.

He went on to ride a Yamaha at a handful of outdoors in 17 and that was it, career over after being a highly touted amateur.

Yaa Jimmy Albertson started that team, those bikes with the Seven gear looked killer that year.
