The chicken legged open practice pro has narrowed the knee brace search down to the pods. I see they have the K4 and the K8 with the K4s being much more affordable. From what I can gather, the K4s are made of a composite material and the K8s are carbon fiber and little lighter. I've also seen that the K8s are available in a wider range of sizes. Are there any other notable differences between these knee braces? Based on what I can see, these appear to offer the same level of protection. Anyone out there have experience with both of these?
Ive had both, can't tell the difference other than frame appearance
Are the cuffs at the bottom the same? As in, they are both flexible and will conform to your leg?
I have been wearing Pods for over 10 years, they are comfortable, for knee braces….and fully adjustable with all the different pad thicknesses that come with the braces….I have the carbon braces but likely no difference in fit & function between the 2 models….their web site shows you where to measure your knee for fit and sizing. I bought my last pair new/ used off a member on here….
