Looks like Leatt has had a new boot out for a while, 6.5. Which look kinda like SG22’s, at least toe box to me. I’ve got a pair of never worn Leatt 5.5. Just tried on in the garage and back on the shelf. Leatt makes good stuff. I’m not in need of new boots not just yet. My Tech 7’s are still good but well worn. Maybe new boots latter in the year.
Anybody tried a pair of 6.5’s. Look to be good boots. I think they run about $650 a pair, definitely high end.

They sure look a lot like an SG22.
Look heavy and stiff like the SG22, the Leatt 5.5 are an awesome boot id stick with those.
I'm on my third set of 5.5 and really like those. Either those or Tech 7's would be my choice. I'm personally not a fan of the stitched sole boots, but if you are, then these are good boots. As mentioned, if you like the SG22/SG12, then you would like these as well.
Yeah those 6.5’s look a lot like a poor man’s SG22. A couple months back I ran across a deal on a pair of size 11 SG22’s in Anthracite grey but chickened out at the last minute.
I have a pair of barely worn Sidi Crossfire 3TA and never ridden in 5.5’s. Along with a pair of Tech 7’s, well worn but still in good shape, I never got along with the Sidi’s. Make my ankles sore after a day at the track and like strapping a board to your foot. Better after swapping out insoles. I say day at the track, I’ve never made but a few laps at a time on the Sidi’s. I ditch them for my Tech7’s.
I will say the lower toe box on the Sidi’s makes it easy to shift.
I’m a month at best probably another 2 months before I can ride cause of knee surgery. Having to take it somewhat easy. So I’m bored and looking for all kind of bike related stuff to buy I don’t kneed lol!
