Clutch plate defect?

I ordered a kit for my buddies bike and what I received is new to me. Are these scuffs and abrasions normal? Should I return for a new set? IMG 2998 2IMG 3001 6IMG 2999 5.jpeg?VersionId=3Azf9LOT

Based off the color (appears dark like they've already been immersed in oil), plus the marks on the tangs I would be sending that back and get my money back.
