Got it, thanks, I was wondering who that was on the bike.

We learned a lot today.

Vialle can ride a 450.

Herlings can ride the Honda

Febvre is a force when everyone is fit .

Coenen had a poor weekend, based on expectations, but is only 8 points out of the Red Plate.

Gajser can ride the Yamaha.

Seewer is out of sorts on the Ducati, and i dont see any way that is changing.

Great opening round.

Nobody's talking about Febvre's ride yesterday. But you're absolutely right, he can deal with all his competitors. Really.

I am never surprised when he wins, Because on those days he has everyone covered.

But the days when he is a bit off, they are the ones that cost him.

I think maybe, just maybe, if Renaux doesnt fall and Herlings takes maybe 2 laps for the pass, he settles for second, and the GP win, but getting a run on him for the last 8 +2 , and making progress straight away, he kept the pressure on and Febvre didnt have enough, which i will admit was a surprise to me, and a big statement from Herlings that an 8 second lead isnt enough .

That said , Febvre  said he didnt feel that he was at his best, but was happy with the result, but many times we have seen him manage a 5 second lead with no problems.

Next GP , hopefully Coenen will be able to see, and KdW will be back.

I wonder how Lewis and Adam are going to address Febvre's ride. He wasn't in their top 4 picks going into the first race. Very muted support for the current world champ.

It was big risk from HRC hire old man, but it looks like pay off. Congrats Jeffrey 113

I never doubt Herlings, just one of the best rider ever.

Vialle to me was a bigger risk for HRC than Herlings. Only problem with Herlings are injuries. Hope he stays free and fight with all Riders.

And if you watch the Searle vlog from Spain JHerlings looks very relaxed & happy.  If he stays injury free I think he will be champ

Welp. I watch those off season races every year and think I know who is where.

Herlings was straight up getting smoked on sand tracks by Gaiser and others. Than just shows up to the main event and he's back!

I would like to see Herlings grab another title. He really should have more. If he were to get this one. Changing teams. Rebuilding again. Would be great. I think if he can keep his shit together he will have something to say if Coenen is riding like last year.

Febre. You never think if him as the fastest rider. But he gets it done. Had the fastest time race 2. He surprises me

But that is based on his usual early season form.   He has only won once in the first 3 rounds, since 2016.

And would you put him in front of Gajser, Herlings, Coenen ,KdW, Vialle  without a thought.

Maybe they just expected him to take a few rounds to get going, like normal .

The track was cool, bit dry in the first laps. Lots of stones and hard edges, spectators were enthusiastic as usual! Overall a cool event, bit weird the red flag came only 3 laps in, and we had to redo the whole moto.. and yes Jeffrey was relaxed and fast! I made a little vlog from the weekend, here the Friday part.
