Can you imagine having a full ride to race sx and mx as your career and acting like these punks? it's been my dream since I can remember to be a motocross racer and be part of the sport and it will never happen for me and millions of others who would appreciate it. Then you have these punk bitches like Stroupe and Lawrence who could have it all and they don't want it! Makes me sick!

Before you judge, you should know all the facts, not that I do, but Stroupe is a very well mannered nice guy, not a punk bitch. Plenty of racers have been racing since a young age, sometimes not what they want but what their parents want. You never know maybe he wants to be something different. People retire after 15-20 years at a job, take that into consideration.

Right now it is just a "rumor"...nothing more ,nothing less.

Not to slander MXA...
But MXA has been off base in the past on posting rumors/reporting on stuff that isn't 100% true.

The biggest one that comes to mind is.
MXoN RC,Stewart,RV team,when they reported that RC was racing ,2 days before the event.Ricky never really had any intentions of racing,he was hurt at the time.It pissed off a lot of fans.

Maybe Guyb,Weeg,Matthes or Izer can fill us in this,if they have even heard anything.??

I heard a week ago that Stroupe wasn't ready and they called someone else to fill in. I would rather not say who it is until it's official but he did really well in the Nationals in 09 filling in at some of the rounds.

I seen reports saying stuff like "Stroupe appears to be a reformed wild man who has emerged from rehab".
I don't know if they were talking about drugs or physical therapy rehab.

I'm not just talking about Stroupe. I'm talking about Lawrence and other morons out there. There are many more. Stroupe is showing that he makes just about as poor of decisions. Poor me, I have to behave and act like a decent human being. In doing so I get to ride a motocross bike for a living and get paid to do it.

from my understanding he had all intentions to go race, but at the final round of the nationals he ate shit while battling stewart at glen helen and destroyed his shoulder.

Yeah,you are right it was Ivan .*fixed* It was 2006 I believe,got it confused with 07. Smile Yeah, my point was thought,that 2 days before the event they posted that up on their site. Ricky was hurt and Ivan was there and even Ricky said he just went over there to support the team and had no plans on racing. It was misinformation ,a non true rumor.

i agree that anyone that wastes their talents is a bit aggervating, from the outside looking in but i gurantee most of these guys dont want to throw away what they have or what they can accomplish. I believe that they are making what they feel are the right decesions at the time, but end up realizing after its too late the mistakes they have made. fyi: rolling a rental car is never a good idea at any time when you are in the media spotlight.....in my opinion.
I still dont see stroupe categorized with the likes of lawrence. yea they both haul on dirt scoots but stroupe has been there except when hurt, which seems like the past two years. some are his fault, some are just racing accidents. i know he had some surgery done this past summer on old injuries from minibike days that being the main reason he was gone for the outdoors. i hung out with him on a few occassions over the summer and he was always a straight up guy, just trying to hang out like anyone else.
as far as his choices, i have no clue on whats what with his ride\deal etc but i believe watson said his dad handles all of his deals, he doesnt have an agent so his ride contracts etc are gone through his father and him, not just him or an agent. hard to believe that his dad would want anything but good things for his son, when hes invested an unthinkable amount of time and money into austin's career.

Well this is not true there is a member on here thats been living with him for a few weeks and he wont ride a1 but has nothing to do with him not being at Valli. He is still with Valli.
