I recently picked up a 5 hour YZ250fx for a steal loaded with goodies. However I do not care for the mako360s it came with. I'm not a very vibration sensitive guy. As close to stock height and deformation resistance is always my main priority. Tons of info out there on clamps and bars but not a lot on mounts. What are the Yamaha teams running? What works well for you?

Luxon 4-post mounts are well made and don’t twist.

I liked the aluminum solid mount cones, $20-$30. The only difference I noticed with OEM was the bars didn't twist nearly as often.

Did you use these with stock mounts?

You can’t go wrong with the Luxon mounts. Billy makes top quality products. He’s been able to get his products onto many teams/ bikes. ClubMX uses his clamps and bar mounts.

Yes, I used with stock bar mounts and clamps.   The solid cones didn't change the height.
