If it was my kids actual job to put the top on the toothpaste in the morning and he didn't do it then you're right. I would be mad. In fact I would replace him.

I listened close and it seemed like Sheheen owned Emig skill wise. Where was the part where Ralf stunk? Without exaggerating Emig put maybe three decent sentences together in the vid.

Seems to me that's how it usually goes in the broadcasts. If I had to pick one of them to go, It would be Emig. While I appreciate his status in the industry and how he has gotten better with his speech over time, his broadcasting makes me cringe.

Emig to me is MC status and here's why............
He placed 5th first year on big bikes SX then 4th the next year then 3rd then 2nd then he beat MC for the title. NOBODY has ever done that and He won MORE AMA Motocross races in the 90's then anyone.
Let him stutter he is still my hero!

Agree, just not on the broadcasts please. Emig is the man for what he's done. He was My favorite guy to watch outdoors, and a great indoor rider too. I really loved what he did at the US open after losing his ride.

How many times will he refer to Reed as the "grittiest rider" (whatever that means)?

I'll gladly put up with it though. Can't wait for the gate drop!

3 pages and nobody has mentioned that Dave Whatshisname fella that rode a little bit back in the '80s and did fairly well until he got hurt I believe. If I remember correctly, he turned himself into a pretty dang good broadcaster.Wink

I remember back in 92 i would have to stay up until like three 3 AM thursday night, friday morning to watch Bradshaw kick some ass. Hell i would not get up for school the next day, because all i could think about was the race afterwards an could not wait to wear the VHS tape out it was on the next day. I REMEMBER Ralph doing some type of interviews back then. I remember thinking wat the fuck, is this the only time espn would put dirt bike racing on. Why so damn late at night. Todays coverage is awesome compared to my early days. Hell anybody remember when vegas was on Pay Per View Live. I thought that was the shit back then. Typical american whinnyass people, be happy its here an shut the fuck up!!!

The one that always gets me is "Absolutely FLYIN through the whoops Jeff" Just how he says "flyin" really makes me want the flat screen to catch a remote
