Sex Pistols at Winterland in San Fran - the last date on their (ill fated) US tour, would be another good one

LOL. I've seen...I would guess...thousands of shows. Those may not of been the best I had seen or even favorite bands of mine..but they stood out.

Oh yeah...Big Audio Dynamite in 1986 was awesome too.

Love and Rockets at the Bronco Bowl
RHCP at Bronco Bowl...then they played again at Clearview that night

Shoot...Butthole Surfers...Skinny Puppy...Fudge Tunnel

Biggest Arena Show??

Probably Stones in 1988. or for shear WOW factor as a 13 year old--Texas Jam with the Scorpians.

No thanks on the Abba.

I don't really care about the venue, but I'd love to have seen The Replacements anywhere during their heyday. One of my all-time favorite bands, but they were before my time. Their live shows were supposed to have been epic.

You and I don’t agree on a lot of things, but I must admit you have pretty good taste in music.

I spent my teenage years in Southern CA and had access to almost all of my favorite bands (at a cost of $6.50 to $12.00 per show in the 70s) so I really can’t think of one of my favorite bands that I haven’t seen. I am seeing two good shows later this week and the first part of next week. On Friday the 25th I am heading to Cains Ballroom in Tulsa (very small venue) to see the Used and on Monday the 28th I am flying to Austin TX to see My Chemical Romance at Stubbs.

BTW: I was at the 72 Led Zeppelin show at the Forum and it was one of my all time favorites.

Cal Jam "1" 1974 !

I think I kicked after that, and concentrated more on racing.

Good for you. I continued on for another four or five years destroying brain cells until about 78 or 79.

You have to admit that the 74 CA Jam was one hell of a “BIG” party

I was/am a big fan as well- I actually had tickets to see them in '87 at the Cat's Cradle in Chapel Hill, but was home ( 1-1/2 hr away) on a break. It was like a Tuesday night so I passed. I still regret it to this day

Anyway props to you for still getting out there and seeing good live music( even flying to do it)
