Anyone travelling up from Miami to Alabama week of the 16th March. Im out in Miami from the UK to compete in a CrossFit competition 12-15th and would love to then get to Alabama and watch the supercross. Any travel advise greatly appreciated!

Birmingham has a really nice little airport.  Easy in/out.  Plenty of good hotel options near the stadium as well.  That area is pretty safe with many recent improvements.

That would be a long drive, you can easily fly into Birmingham.  Once there, I definitely recommend getting a hotel within walking distance from the stadium (there is about 5 or so, the racers all stay at the hotel directly across from the stadium, but it is spendy).

Yeah, I bit the bullet on getting a room at the Westin. It will be our first supercross with our newborn (he will be 3 months old) and I know it will be nice to be able to walk back and forth to the hotel room if/when needed.
