I hope Matthes is very well rewarded by RacerX. He has done more for moto journalism in the past year than any magazine/website has done in the past decade. I hope he continues to provide truthfull insight regardless if it pisses off industry people. Thought that was the reason he left RacerX last time.

RacerX needs to step it up.......they can't even post the 2011 outdoor national schedule on thier website...not even the "new" website.

Good luck Matthes

It was a repeat post, i gave Bobby the benefit of the doubt and left this one and deleted the other.

TFS was the man.Matthes is the next best thing to TFS but in a head to head shootout TFS owns Matthes IMO. Nobody told it like it was like TFS. That dude had balls of steel. You can't shit where you eat in this sport and that cat did owned it and got run.

Better to have Matthes than not. Strong opinions are not tolerated by the powers and they most likely figure its better to keep a guy like Matthes close than let him rome free. He is less likely to feel fucked over if he getting paid while he is getting fucked over.

100% agree. Still not sure why he needs to be affiliated with any pub. His work (podcasts/PulpMX Show/website/Twitter) the past 16 months or so runs circles around the mags. Racer head, Kickstart etc are so obsolete now it isn't funny. Hopefully RX will give him a ton of leeway and/or control. With no or limited EJ and DC running his other interests they need it.

Let me try to understand this...Matthes is fueled by food. RacerX may know where food might exist. Is this not symbiosis?
