Currently looking at factory Triumph or Club Mx team which would riders prefer to race for? I mean on hand Triumph I feel has bigger names but like Jalek and Jordon. But I feel like they are having a hard time keeping a 4 man roster. Seems like Club Mx doesn’t have the star power but they are good at turning guys careers around. Club mx doesn’t have a win though and Triumph does. so what do you guys think?

Tough one…. Triumph is a “factory” team, but Club has their shit together.
Club is over preforming a a privateer team, i would not be surprised to see it take over a factory teams 250F programme in the near future,
At this exact moment, Club for sure. The staff they have can develop riders. You wouldn't have the pressure to win immediately and it's not a factory team. A podium would be viewed as a win. Vibes seem great. World class facility. Reed is coaching right now. Them not being a factory team can actually be an advantage to some developing riders, IMO.
Only a guy that can legit go win a few races can really benefit from Triumph. It's not clear that the Triumph 450 is good yet so it's hard to count the path to a 450 as a big benefit of Triumph.
Can someone refresh my memory here?
I seem to recall, Star wasn’t the factory team right? They were the support that eventually merged or something like that? My sketchy memory tells me Star was a dominant team in the 250 before they were “factory” too.
I can see club going the similar route, a non factory team that’s better than a lot of the factories.

Club really does seem like a great program.
But that Triumph is a beaut with the black and flo yellow 😮💨
Star was behind Yamaha of Troy in tiers with Yamaha, then Troy was going to go under and they were going to merge with Star (which is how Star got Durham in ‘09 because I believe he was going to YOT), the merge fell thru and I think JLaw absorbed a lot of the YOT parts because they couldn’t pay him his championship bonus. Star became Yamahas official team maybe in 2010(?) and then Star merged with Valli Motorsports Yamaha for 2012 (which is how izzi and Stroupe rode for them in 2012, they rode for Valli in ‘11). Then in 2013 the dynasty happened with Jmart and Webb. Star wasn’t dominate till 2014 when the new Yamaha 250 came out, Tickle got them a win in ‘10 and Ryan Sipes got them some win in 2011 and ‘12. Cunningham rode the wheels off that bike in 2011 and did good and Swanny got a moto win at southwick that year. I think they were the only team to win a moto outdoors in 2011 besides the PC team
The flo yellow has really grown on me, especially in the right lighting conditions where the yellow seems to really glow.
