If a group of 5 or 10 people that are doing something means that the entire party they voted for approves of it, that would make both parties guilty of some pretty messed up ideals.
It is hypocritical of that small group to be doing what they are doing to a degree. But the issue that most protesters have that Ive heard interviewed isnt that they are enforceing immigration. Its how they are doing it.
The larger groups came out to protest after ice had shot and killed 2 protesters . Its the violent and sloppy and random way they are doing it.
The majority of people were for getting the worst of the worst out. But that not always what is happening now. With US citizens being taken in and people without a criminal history. I get it that crossing the boarder illegally is a crime. But that hardly makes you the worst of the worst criminals. And the majority of people voted for the worst of the worst to be cleared out.
It seems clear that most people didnt want ICE to be going to elementary schools and rippping random people out of their cars through broken windows . They voted for targeted deportation of gang members killers etc.
The other reason i hear people give for protesting . Is the lack of due process that was going on at first and could still be . Asking for a day in court for the goverment to proove they have the right person before they remove them from the country. Is NOT defending killers and rapist like many on the right claim. See how I didnt group all of them into that same group after seeing some of them say those things.
The big bold claims made by both parties about the other party being all for something that a minority of the people in that party are for or doing is feeding the division . It is hurting the country .
Its making people think they are further apart in the way they think and what they believe is good. When that is not reality. The majority of people all want similar things. Just read through this entire thread and look for commonalities amung the posts and you can see it.
Its the details on stuff that people start to disagree on. I would think that of all places people on a motocross forum could see how one comon thing can bring people together and get people hanging out and working towards a common goal ,even if the dissagree on a lot.
As a teenager I was riding with people of all ages and I loved how motocross brought people together that would normally not be friends. And we would all work to build tracks on friends property. And to help injuried riders ,etc.
If only the majority of people in the us could come together on a common love and work together on the things they agree on before tackling the ones they dissagree on. Instead of allowing to be divided by people who are using the division to their advantage. I felt like the people on a motocross board could see things that way and be able to come together on more. I think that some of us are. But some might just enjoy getting people riled up or enjoy the fight.
Overall im sad that the people I had the most confidence of being able to see how people working together is better than being divided are for the most part just playing the same game .

Often when I put fox news on i see them telling everybody how crazy democrats are. How you should think and feel about them, while they tell you that democrats are always telling people what to think.
I was wondering where people were being told what to think and feel by media and democrats. My mom was an avid msnow and cnn viewer with a little fox thrown in to see a different point of view. Shes an independent but was more left than right. I never noticed anybody on those channels telling me how to feel. Dont get me wrong everybody has an agenda. And there were plenty of hosts and guests saying how they felt
Then I saw the segment on fox and another and another. And thats when I started looking for the lies from the more left leaning media and they do more selective truths than outright lies disguised as opinions like what Ive seen on Fox. They are not totally inocint in the games
I came to the conclusion that Republican politician often seem to either think or assume their voters are going to blindy follow them. While democrat politician learned their voters will not blindly follow after wrongly assuming they had certain demographics on lock.
Well other than the small group of loyal diehard voters that will always vote for their favorite party. But neither party has enough of those.
And the crazy bs that each side is selling you that the other side is all in for. Is an even smaller segment of people in each party.

So who has told you those are "normal" democrat thoughts or things? And that democrats are against the other things?
I see social media full of the same fox new style claims of people telling people what to think. I had thought that people got that thought from hearing it on the news. But maybe it started as an assumption or some random person that calls the.self a democrat has posted stuff that republicans grabbed and attached to the entire party.
Ive only down vote one post without posting that I had done it. And it wasnt any of yours. I prefer to post my opinions in long wordy posts instead of just hitting the dislike.
My thoughts on the downvotes are. Some people will just downvote anything posted by certain people. But the other thought was that people could downvote because they dissagree that democrats think that way.
And another was that theres always something that somebody else might think of that you didn't. And there are many reasons people would dislike it other than the few you listed. Your options are a typical biased way of trying to get a point across by assuming there are only the options you listed as the answer.
When the reality is, that it is just as likley a differnt reason that is not listed. Opinions are not a multiple choice test with only limited options being available as the acceptable answers. And an opinion you agree with is still an opinion . Just because you agree doesn't change it into a fact.

I keep saying that everybody is being manipulated into arguing and fighting with each other on some level. Its not just a single party. You might think I'm a democrat since I dislike Trump. I have also liked and benefited from stuff both sides have done at somepoint .
Trumps just the current one in charge. If there was a Democrat in the white house that had the same accusations that Trump has I would say the same about them. If a democrat was President right now and they were allowing ICE to be so sloppy I would say the same things about ICE and their responsibility. If You replace Trump with ANY democrat , but keep everything that's happening the same , Just replace Trumps name with theirs in what I have written.
The big difference I see between parties is that Republicans think they can't lose votes from their base, and Democrats know they will lose peoples votes because they have made that mistake and seen what happens.
