Absolutely
One of my favorite albums!💯👊🏻
This footage of Cream at the Revolution Club is some of my all time favorite stuff. There are also Sunshine of Your Love and Tales of Brave Ulysses. There were occasional videos and recordings of the band where they played things slightly downtempo and just sounded heavy as hell.
Same with the BBC version of Outside Woman Blues. They just sound more greasy than most of their other stuff.
I've always wished James Gang popped off more. Also as someone who spent their teens and twenties obsessively learning every drum part to Zep, Hendrix, and Cream, Jimmy Fox on the drums here is monstrous and so slept on.
Obligatory Hendrix breathing straight fire. Also my favorite Mitch Mitchell live playing.

Every now and then, you have to listen to some Jimi and remember just who the ultimate Fing GOAT of rock guitar was, is and will always be:
Anything…
Everything…
From that era…that album…even-though is was 11-12 years old…
I remember all of it.
Winterland…Days on the Green…Bill Graham Presents…
Frampton, BOC, Led Zeppelin (Bonham was gone soon after I saw them…so bummed), Bad Co, UFO in their space suits, Boston & Foreigner were a “new thing”, Journey was THE Bay Area band and the women at those shows were “9 and above”, Santana, Yes, Queen when they were 🔥, Styx concerts were quite amazing…seriously, Van Halen was NEW, Sammy was a newly recognized solo artist formerly the voice of Montrose, KISS was already a thing…a HUGE thing…& so many bands were changing…members leaving…
CSN&Y was becoming CSN…etc.
Imagine being that young and being at those shows…there’s a reason why I’ve got a thing for naturally attractive women with curves and little to no makeup.
Beach women, if you will.
As SeeMeFirst can attest…we often say…
“If ya catch me bitchin’ about those days? SLAP ME!”
🤣
American Idol just started and I have always loved hearing someone else’s rendition of music classics.
Frampon is my favorite concert ever! There was a surprising amount of hot chicks there too!
Let's face it...the 70s ruled for rock !
Something like this...
My older sis and her best friend bought Frampton Comes Alive when it first came out, (I was 13) so I heard it being played literally all day long that summer. So every single note is burned into my noggin, front to back. She and I both went to see him in '77 on the 'Im In You' tour. That show was pretty much the live album tunes with a few songs from the new LP tossed in.
