well tommorow we are trading for one of these bikes both have the same things done to em yzs in a lil better condition anyone have the shootouts or anything? Would like to know which ones better were thinking the honda!

The '01 CR125 was a great bike. The later CR125's were dogs.

if memory serves the YZ was MXA's shootout winner 4 or 5 years in a row, from like 97 on. i had a 96 yz 125 and it was the best bike i ever owned. so if i were making the choice i would go with the yamy.

I have an 01 in my stable and it has been a great bike. I have done a boatload of work to the motor and will be happy to share info if you end up with the CR. Best of luck P.S. The stable only has red bikes so I can't offer any insight on the YZ.

When my 450 was down for repairs. I borrowed a 2001 CR 125 for a bit. I was smiling the whole time riding it, and in the pits after the moto. Get the CR!

i got a 2001 cr125 in the garage and it is like a dream ride! my last bike was a yz and it was a good bike but im a lot more comfortable on the cr. if i was you i would go with the cr125 there great bikes

The shootouts favoured the YZ. I still have the 99YZ and it hauls. The CR´s were still weak and rough handling in (00-01)
I´d go with the YZ hands down!
