On Racer X's website he wrote that the Canard /RV incident was similar to the Sorby/Preston incident from a few years ago. It was actually Walker not Sorby.

Seriously though, is the Nerd ever wrong when it comes to MX, seat bouncing, or a plane on a treadmill?

I am watching the DVD right now and Walker is the one who took Preston out over the finish line.

I was at that race in San Fran, and to the best of my knowledge, it was Sorballz.

Of course, Nerd is probably right. He had a way higher post count on Motodrive than I did.

The best of your knowledge is not good enough. It was Walker.

Of course it does. How do you think BMIZAR got his info???

Wouldnt be the first thing I've read on the internet that isn't right.

As for my memory of the race, it is just that. Not digging up the first article I could find through Google, but just plain old memory. Could be wrong.

Of course so could you.

Good question. I've seen guys argue both. To my memory, it was Sorby. Now, four days before I headed down with my motobuddies from Seattle to San Fran (to that particular race) I separated my shoulder, tore my rotator, tore up my knee, and cracked a few ribs. So with that being said, along with all of the vicodin I was on that night, after 2 days with no sleep, and some beer, I could be wrong. But my memory has Sorby. Cool

I'm not relying on Google, acting like I know everything, just plain old memory. That's all I got.

Preston did get in a huge altercation with Sorby in the lites class awhile back. He even threatened to get Sorby back on Camera. I am not sure if this is the same incident Nerd is talking about.

***It could have been the 450 class but it was Sorby for sure.

P.S. I don't doubt he had an altercation with Walker either just not clear on the specific event.

And to get back to the point - it's not the same, I don't think. Walker wasn't trying to get a position, he was trying to block Preston.

Walker has a history as a tough guy Canard is the farthest thing from that you will ever meet. He is just a nice kind hearted kid.

Didn't Preston ad Sorby get into it a few years back at Anaheim?

I am just curious, not to get off topic, but when did motocross turn into Soccer? I dont recall seeing that memo? I thought motocross/Sx was a sport for the rough and tough and it was all about "banging bars." Trey Canard is the 2008 East Coast Lites SX champion. At the end of the day he did what it took to win that championship. Congratulations to Trey.
