Forgot my Leatt this weekend

Edited Date/Time 1/19/2012 2:25pm
I was an hour from home so I decided to ride without. I was surprised how much more comfortable I felt on my bike without the brace on. I hope the EVS fits better when it comes out.

For three years before I got my Leatt, I wore a karting neck-nut. Felt it all the time. I never feel my Leatt, whether racing or just sitting around.

I suggest yours is not fitted properly.

Okay then, explain exactly why then the EVS doesn't offer any protection.

Ok in my opinion a rubber pad on your shoulders doesnt offer as much protection as a full on brace . Dont get me wrong wearing it would be better than wearing nothing at all but... it doesnt offer near the protection as the Leatt Brace. Keep in mind it is an opinion dont get your panties in a wad.

Do you have independent and unbiased testing to back this up or are you just guessing?

Well, dickwad, you toss your opinion as if fact.
You have no evidence of shit, so your opinion is guessing

To get back to the original topic, I feel neckid without my Leat now. It is just there and I don't notice it. The only time I do is when I am offroading. When I turn my head to see if my riding partners are there it gets in the way. And at my flexibility that I have now it's sucks at that time. But I will deal with it. I need to get a back up camera or something.

Continue fighting now.

Hmmm, okay. So at first you say it doesn't offer any protection (your words). Then, you pull a 180 and say it does, just not as much as a Leatt, but better than nothing at all. Which is it, smart guy?

Also, slinging an opinion around as fact is bullshit.

The EVS looks like nothing more than a rubber neck roll with a plastic ring around it. I don't see it performing at the level that the Leatt or Alpinestars offer with their rigid braces.

Couple of quick questions... What exactly is this "dickwad" thing you are referring to? Why did you capitalize "Badass" but not "jesus"?

CamP, have you fingered an EVS yet? Buddy of mine has one on order. I'm just curious. He is used to a roll.

No, I've just seen the renderings that EVS has floating around. It seems as though they may be rushing a gimmicky product to market just to capitalize on the new demand for neck braces that Leatt has pioneered. We'll see.
