Maduro has had criminal indictments against him since 2020, Trump somehow managed to arrest him in his own Country. Didn't just kill him with a missile (obviously would have been easy to do), he arrested him and brought him back to face a trial.

Machado and Gonzalez as with the rest of the supporters of a free and willfully elected new government will have to be well protected. Both from the extremely well funded cartels as well from the Maduro supporters in the military. Which I'm certain will be weeded out in quick order.

Strategically, economically, and for control/access to resources, it just makes sense for America to expand its borders. We need more space and more land for the American ideal to survive and thrive. We can insure our future through territorial expansion and I can guarantee the majority of Mexicans and other Central American countries would love to be part of the USA. They can get all the benefits of being American citizens without ever having to leave home!
