Can I use a Vortex from a CRF, remap then install on an RMZ? I have a buddy parting out a bike, and I read (i dont remember where) that it was possible. Just need a confirmation

I have used the same Vortex on my RMZ450 and my KTM 500, with a re-map from Twisted Development

A vortex from a yzf wont fit a ktm? Different connectors?
Can anyone explain how an aftermarket ECU improves performance? Whether stock or aftermarket, the ECU reads basic parameters like engine and air temp, throttle position, RPM, and a MAP sensor. They both have adjustable tables that decide what to do with that data. The only difference I've heard between the is aftermarket has a wider tuning range and higher resolution but that doesn't seem like a game changer.
I'm not saying they don't improve performance, I just don't understand how.
It’s the single best motor performance mod you can do. That’s all you need to know 😉
Thats correct. Yamaha is the only one different
Yep - my KTM vortex went right in my new KX450 with a remap from twisted.
