They should prove Dungey is gay by offering him a shot at any one of the girlfriends or wives of the guys who said that stuff about him. If he gets a stiffy and gives it to the girlfriend/wife, then it proves he isn't gay.

I can't tell you how many times I have heard the phrase "she is gay" or been asked if "she was gay".

There are a lot on here saying that it doesn't matter but when it comes to the girls that ride then it does make a difference on how people feel about them.

And no I will not tell you who they are so do not ask.

It shouldn't matter.. If they are then thats their business get over it. If you think there are none you need to look a little harder. They are out there and they still are bad ass on the bike so that should be all that matters.

I did see Ryan Dungey at the Cliff restaurant, in Laguna beach last year...but I was there too.

I have heard the rumors of who is gay and rides but I dont try to pry becouse its not my bussiness, and frankly its none of our bussness.

You really cant blame the guy for not wanting come come clean, he would be ruined. I dont care what people say, for the most part they are racist and judgemental towards gays.

Imagine how the boards would eat him up and how bad the crowds would boo. He makes a living doing some manly things, he wont be coming out any time soon.

i know the guy training Dungey, the kid is a clean cut straight kid, definatly not gay. Just becouse he doesnt jump on top of every pro-hoe like some others riders, doesnt make him gay.

What Slow-Pro said is so true. I could care less about someones sexual preference. My daughter has a friend that is gay and he is a very nice kid and quite funny and intelligent. The first time in our house my son who is very hetero reached out and shook his hand and the kid almost realed. Turns out a number of her other girlfriends families won't let him come over. Some of the brothers bagged on him etc.. So when he showed up here he was leary. He used to walk by me as though I was going to do something negative to him. I have to admit I don't look like the friendliest person in the world. Typical bald guy uniform, Gotee etc. and I always have a scowl. My son used to think I was mad at him during his hockey games because I was not smiling all the time. One of his coaches thought I was mad always. Well I can't see. So I squint. Any ways I said to him one time, Nick do you think I don't like you or something? Caught him off guard. I said if I don't like you I would not talk to you or bag on you, which I always did. He now is always here when my daughter come home from college and is real fun to be around.
Again who cares if someone is gay. As long as they are good people so be it. If you have a problem with it then deal with it. We are all in this shithole together .

Its interesting how this boards membership seems a bit more broad minded compared to MD where most of us came from. I expected BL or crash etc to chime in with plenty of Gay putdowns etc. I guess maybe the "short leash" dealio may actually work for a little while at least!

I can remember plenty of gay bashing going on and my reponse was always this. I wonder what you would say or do if it turned out that your child or grand child was gay? Oh and Dungy is not even close to gay IMO
