Trump keeps saying that he already solved the problem of affordability. that prices are already down. Which may be true on some stuff. But apparently even You think that he still has a ways to go.
Haven't You seen his interviews where he says he already solved the problem? That he didn't want to hear about it anymore. I believe Trump is saying that things are affordable and its a hoax that prices have not come down.
I know You can't fix stuff like that overnight. But You can make prices go up overnight while also causing less exports via the insane way he imposed tariffs.
Then we can agree things are trending in the right direction with President Trump. Now tell me how the democrats would do it better and why we should trust them to do it. The democrats always talk a pie in the sky answer, with no reasonable way to get there.
It’s easy to say we’re going to make things affordable. Tell me how you plan to do it.
NO real proof? So you just ignore that the Dominion voting machine was actually demonstrated to the court by an MIT professor how to change the vote count while your alone in the booth with the machine and a a long skinny object like a writing pen.
Or all the video of people dumping multiple ballots in drop boxes. (illegally)
Actual video of people taking out secret ballots from suitcases and running the same ballots through tabulators many times
Or townships that had more votes than population. You don't have to cheat by much if you do it right. And who is going to listen if you say you "only found 100 illegal votes"
From Michelle Obama,
"In the 2020 Democratic National Convention speech, she stated that in one of the states that determined the 2016 outcome (Michigan), the winning margin averaged out to just two votes per precinct."
And your theory about people that didn't like Trump 45 changing their vote holds no water. Trump got 20% more votes in 2020 than 2016
Your numbers just don't add up.
Peace out
TM
"Trump keeps saying that he already solved the problem of affordability. that prices are already down. Which may be true on some stuff. But apparently even You think that he still has a ways to go."
You do realize fixing a problem and then seeing the results of said fixed problem are 2 different things. If you have a pool with a leak and you lost half your water, fixing the leak doesn't make the pool full.
And when you start filling it AFTER you fix the leak, it's not instantaneous.

Great analogy!
Could you help explain the following: "secured the border (this helps housing costs)"? Are you implying that you think this will bring home prices down or rent prices? "Housing Costs" is a bit ambiguous.
So the title of the thread was that the J6bomb could go off any minute, but everybody knows the bomb is not gonna go off at any minute, because they secured the bomb and diffused it. Somebody had to say it.
Actually, it did help lower housing costs. This is the 4 straight month that San Diego saw a decrease in rents. Less demand and same supply lowers the cost of the supply.
Out of context videos showing a process that experts agreed was not what people claimed it was.
I couldn't find anything about an MIT professor but.
There was a computer expert that was a professor at the University of Michigan and an expert on Dominion voting machines , known for finding and exposing flaws in them. I saw courtroom drawings .No video. Since there were drawings I would have to assume that no cameras were allowed in the courtroom and any video You saw were reenactments or something that was not done in court. Perhaps I just missed the courtroom videos, please share a link if you can.
Are you sure You want to believe that professor? He was a witness for a liberal activist group. That also said that there was no evidence that any votes had ever been changed.
A quote from the group that brought that case
"We are discovered the breach of the statewide system in Coffee County, Georgia and exposed it using the discovery in the Curling case. We proved in court that this theft of Georgia’s software and the distribution of it to unauthorized actors has placed all future elections at risk. Our discovery provided much of the evidence that led to indictments against multiple individuals, and two guilty pleas in the Fulton County RICO case. But our efforts to hold Trump’s allies who stole the software accountable for this massive damage to Georgia’s election security are far from over."
link to their website https://coalitionforgoodgovernance.org/
So the proof that Biden cheated is that Trump allies stole software in 2017? The machines were changed since then to address some of the flaws according to the article below that also talks about who brought the case and who the professor is. Did they make claims of cheating on a hunch, use the software they stole and not find any proof? And that's why nothing solid ever showed up?

Perhaps if You only look at vote totals You will have that view. But if You look at the votes broke down into counties, and first time voters etc. He flipped 54 counties ( in the 2024 election )that had previously voted for both Clinton and Biden , and flipped back 34 counties that had voted for him in 2016 but switched to Biden in 2020. Every single county Kamala won, Biden also won in 2020. He got a bigger piece of first time voters than Harris did. Biden did better than Trump with first time voters in 2020.
A larger total doesn't mean that some voters did not switch who they voted for, or not vote and were replaced by other voters, and that overall people are generally unhappy with the direction the country has been going . Most poles ( even ones on the media that is biased towards the party that's held power at the time they were taken over the past years) agree with my statement that people are unhappy with things. It seems like a very reasonable reason for the person they blame for how things are going to be voted out, right?
The larger the scale of the conspiracy has to be, the less I believe it. One guy, sure. Half dozen with families and death threats, maybe. Beyond that, fuck no.
It still doesn't make it a hoax that people are not seeing things as better. By the numbers, things were better under Biden too and most people didn't feel like they were. SO perhaps its just the wrong things that he has "fixed" for most people. It still is not a hoax right?
The things I've seen go down have been things that demand has dropped through the floor for. So there's that too. And Biden likely benefited from some of that with his numbers too, and still not enough people felt that benefit.
He may have started to fix the pool, but he put a giant leak into it first ( tariffs) but telling people they are not still seeing that he hasn't filled it back up while he claims its overflowing might make it harder to convince people who can see its still just half full.
I'm excited that we will be able to buy the mini cars that wouldn't pass crash tests before. It will most likely make for some very fun, but dangerous vehicles. If companies can get insurance to sell them, and people are able to afford to insure them. I still think that there may be some cool off road stuff that is a cross between a SXS and a real car.
There is a great documentary that followed Berny Sanders to super red area that voted almost all for trump. And he talks about some things that really made sense to a lot of the Trump supporters.
Perhaps try getting info from a source that is not biased against Democrats to see a fair representation of ideas they may or may not have. If You really care to find out their side of things.
Both parties have their issues and most supporters end up focused on the pros of the side they support and overlook the cons. Unfortunately I don't think things will ever be fixed until both sides stop playing us against each other and really start to work together to fix the country for real.
Until then, they will keep stopping the other sides plans before they can really help.
"Are you sure You want to believe that professor? He was a witness for a liberal activist group. That also said that there was no evidence that any votes had ever been changed."
You should also add that he testified that what he did left no trail. Ergo, the evidence would be gone.
"BREAKING: In A Federal Court In Atlanta Georgia On Friday J. Alex Halderman (@jhalderm) Was Able To HACK A DOMINION VOTING TABULATOR In Front Of U.S. District Judge Amy Totenberg USING ONLY A PEN TO CHANGE VOTE TOTALS! This Is Part Of A Long Running Lawsuit By Election Integrity…"
Nope, how about you address that Michelle Obama said if you break it down by precinct, it was only 2 votes per precinct. How big of a secret do you really need to keep if the margin is that close. How much do you really need to cheat if the margin is only that much? How about you address the video of the people running suitcases of ballots that were hidden under the desk through the tabulators multiple times and just magically the vote count during that time frame exploded for Biden. There's just too many irregularities for you to have any credibility. And you have no evidence that the Dominion machines were not hacked. Really the onus is on you to prove it was legit, and you can't do that with all the information that's out there. You can rant all you want but it was PROVEN the machines were hackable and you can't prove they weren't. What about all the illegal votes they counted in Wisconsin? Just too much information out there and it always breaks in Biden's favor. What happened to those 6-7 million voters? You know what turns conservative voters into Democratic voters? Death, and they just keep voting dem every year after.
How come there’s some 10 MILLION or so “extra votes”’ that showed up in 2020…but…didn’t return in 2024?
Ok whatever, i dont care if you believe what I have determoned to be a lie enough to try anymore. I really dont want to rile you up.
I came to this board to try and help people and Ive gotten too fare away from doing that in this section of this site.
I normally stay away from politics. I dipped my toes in when I was trying to help people understand who really pays tariffs. Via my own first hand experiances importing. Even something so easy to proove was meet with doubters and I should have just stopped there.
The Biden space cadet thing and resulting Dem shit show to find someone else led to turned off voters that said screw this I'm staying home this time.
In other words, you can’t name one single thing in the democrats plan to make things affordable. Got it.
Pit Row
Less demand lowers costs.
You’re welcome.
Next!
Don't do that, don't project your own riled up rants on someone else. I gave more respect to your rant posts than deserved. Told you multiple times this was hashed over in great detail in the past. And your response was more ranting. In the past you've on occasion provided decent dialog, this time not so much.

With all of the deportations, maybe the housing market will normalize.
Unfortunately in CA, the government keeps the cost too high. If you want to build a modest size house, be prepared to pay over $100k in permits and fees before you can even shovel some dirt.
Perfect example of how reducing and removing regulations lowers costs. This applies to everything from farming to flying to automobiles to houses …..
There’s a reason why people are leaving Commiefornia in droves.
That wasn't my question. I asked if you are talking about home prices(owning) or rent. I'll try to make it more simple for you next time.
Supply and demand is basic economics. When you have more dollars chasing fewer goods, the price goes up. I hope this helps. Have a great day!
"Could you help explain the following: "secured the border (this helps housing costs)"? Are you implying that you think this will bring home prices down or rent prices? "Housing Costs" is a bit ambiguous."
The correct answer to your question is just "yes"
Maybe it needs to be more simple for you. They both went down.

Those trends did not start 4 months ago and are highly localized: Apartment List National Rent Report
For instance, Chicago, NY City & San Jose/San Francisco have shown significant increases in rent even though they have been highly targeted by ICE. Phoenix, Austin etc, which haven't been large targets to date, have had significant rent declines.
Finally, in April the home price index had changes to it's methodologies put in place: New Tenant and All Tenant Regressed Rent Index Methodology Updates : U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics
So in other words, correlation does not equal causation. I understand the desire to use anecdotes to prove your feelings, but overall rent prices nationwide have been in decline since 2022.
Home prices have been going down since 2022. Are you saying Bidens strict immigration enforcement was the catalyst?
You do know that cities that haven't been targeted by ice have had dramatic reductions in illegal immigrants due to the high number of illegals that "self deported" under Trump's paid program.
