After years of hating every 450 I have ridden, and being a huge fan of 350, I rode a 2023 KX 450 SR and had one four days later. Go figure. 
I wanted a slightly different look for next year and went with new graphics as seen above.

Sweet bike👍is it as fast as the 350”s ?

It is actually a little faster and bit more torque. Not enough to scare one away. My 23 has very little engine braking compared to my short lived 2023.5 KTM 450 FE. 

I had never liked Kawasaki’s or 450’s and this is now one of my top 5 bikes of all time. 🙄

It is actually a little faster and bit more torque. Not enough to scare one away. My 23 has very little engine braking compared to my short lived 2023.5 KTM 450 FE.

Thats great…I have not owned a new Kawasaki since 1991! They do look and sound like good bikes!

Some context though. At 67 I am not pushing my bikes hard. I ride 99% of the time on a private track with smaller jumps, more of a 1980 GP track feel. Long, fast, and safe. Not a double to be found. 
Is this the best 450. I have no idea, it is the best for me and my needs though.

Some context though. At 67 I am not pushing my bikes hard. I ride 99% of the time on a private track with smaller jumps, more of a 1980 GP track feel. Long, fast, and safe. Not a double to be found. 
Is this the best 450. I have no idea, it is the best for me and my needs though.

I get you, I”m almost 60…I have spoke with you and bought some parts from you…keep on, keeping on!
