Fox News, OANN, Newsmax...

They're not state run in a financial sense, but they act as unified propaganda channels of the Republican party. I know you'll probably take issue with that statement, but that's because you've become accustomed to the way it is. The abuse of 'free speech' allows people to just shamelessly lie to you without any sense of integrity and responsibility and the likes of Fox and Newsmax absolutely exploit that to sew division in America.

With that money comes pressure from advertisers to broadcast a message that is in-line with their beliefs and desired direction making it a compromised message from the get-go, but you already knew that.

So Jack offered to publicly testify so everyone could hear what he has to say about the charges he brought against DJT. But ol Jim Jordan and co decided they weren’t about to let that happen and now will be having a closed door meeting which Smith has agreed to. I don’t side with Smith but I do want to hear what he has to say without the government deciding what we get to hear.

No, you'd get a bunch of "I can't answer that in a public setting". And you get nothing tangible.

I can only take Donald Trump and his admin at their word. They ran on transparency. Everything that happens is someone else’s fault. It’s like dealing with my kids when they’re fighting. “But dad Josie did/said/took” “but dad Mason did it first”. Not me. So fuck them. I’m going to be critical of everything because I pay these cock suckers. Don’t run on transparency and accountability and then follow through with none of it. I’d be less pissed if they just said hey you know what? We have always lied and nothing is going to change btw don’t forget to pay taxes slave.

Government’s SOLE reason for existence is to legitimize the exploitation of the many by the few. That is the ONLY thing it has ever done and will ever do. Collectively it’s our own dam fault for being so easily manipulated.

And the truth is, is that the few that wield the most power in our world. Once you take away their possessions and their power, those individuals are the most depraved and sick people on the planet. They suffer no less than anyone else. So it’s not really the few that the government’s of the world exist for, but rather an idea that they/we believe in that is the true enemy.

PS. If you can’t discuss or debate this without personal attacks or name calling, go start your own thread.  Trolls need not apply!😎

None of it matters, no one involved with Washington at  or in any way shape or form in Washington will ever be prosecuted for anything  Washington accountability in a nutshell: Democrats could hatch a plot with every terrorist group under the sun to overthrow the U.S. (oh wait, that’s already happened) and the only ‘consequence’ would be a Netflix documentary where they play the victim. Zero criminal referrals, zero jail time, infinite excuses. Anyone targeting Trump is immune.

I was having trouble deciphering that last paragraph, so I did the most ‘old man’ thing I could think of to figger it out……

From the ChatGPT:

———————-

Here’s a clear, structured explanation of what the commenter is trying to say, plus the underlying meaning, the assumptions, and what rhetorical style they’re using. I’ll keep it neutral and descriptive.

Plain-English Translation

Commenter’s point 1:

“Government only exists to help a small group of powerful people exploit everyone else.”

Commenter’s point 2:

“This has always been the government’s purpose and always will be.”

Commenter’s point 3:

“It’s society’s own fault because we allow ourselves to be manipulated.”

Commenter’s point 4:

“The powerful few aren’t actually special—if you take away their wealth and power, they’re just deeply flawed people.”

Commenter’s point 5:

“So the real enemy isn’t the people in power but the idea or belief system that allows them to have that power in the first place.”

What They Mean (Interpretation)

The commenter is expressing a cynical, almost nihilistic view of government and power. They believe:

Government is inherently exploitative
Not just corrupt governments—all governments, by design.

Hierarchy exists because the masses consent to it
They imply that people are passive, manipulable, and allow elites to rule.

Elites aren’t better—just protected
Without wealth/power, elites would be morally no different or even worse.

The real problem is ideological
They suggest society runs on a shared belief system—possibly capitalism, nationalism, institutional authority, or “the social contract”—and that is the true source of oppression.

In other words, the commenter is arguing that the system itself—not just individuals—produces exploitation.

Underlying worldview

This thinking lines up with:

Anarchist or anarchistic arguments (“the state exists to enforce hierarchy and exploitation”)

Marxist-adjacent ideas (“elite power is upheld by ideology”)

Critical theory (“systems reproduce power independent of people”)

Conspiracy-tinged distrust (“we are manipulated into obedience”)

But it’s not strictly Marxist or anarchist—it’s more of a broad anti-establishment fatalism.

Tone and rhetorical style

Absolutist language: “SOLE reason,” “ONLY thing,” “ever will do.”

Moral condemnation: government and elites as “depraved and sick.”

Collective self-blame: “our own damn fault.”

Abstract enemy: “an idea that we believe in.”

This is a style often used when someone feels disillusioned or powerless and is expressing frustration rather than a structured argument.

Summary

The commenter is basically saying:

“Government is inherently a tool for oppression, the public is manipulated into allowing it, elites aren’t special or noble, and the real root problem is the belief system that keeps power structures in place.”

It was pretty close.  There was just a weird syntax/incomplete sentence thing in the second paragraph that I thought it would be fun to see explained by ChatGPT.

As for it's accuracy, a couple of (not very!) important things to note:

- It is only looking at the single post, not a cumulative montage of things that you have posted over the weeks, months, or years.

- I think that most people who get a personality test result that says that they are contrarian disagree with that assessment.......!!!!!

Well since we both agree as American citizens that the government of the United States constitutes the biggest threat to our life, liberty, and children's future. Then I think the answer is obvious.

The question then becomes how do we do it? And how do we get it done the whole world over?.. I mean the system itself is a glass house. The fundamentals of it are so contrary to every law of Nature and so reliant on placing the fear of the unknown in the population, that it is actually weak and very prone to collapse. We, the people of the world, could overthrow every single government on earth in probably 72 hours without ever leaving our homes. The system ceases to function without our labor and our continual repayment of debt. Stop going to work, stop buying shit, and don't pay your bills and taxes and the whole thing falls in less than a week providing everyone on earth stands in solidarity with each other. One might then ask; how do we not make the same mistakes and remake our society all over again in the same fucked up ways? Its a good question but personally I think if we could manage to be so courageous as to find enough empathy and respect for everyone and everything on earth, enough to stand in solidarity with one another. Than I think we, as humanity, will have shifted our perception enough to truly understand what we really need to sustain healthy and happy lives. If we could manage that kind of solidarity amongst ourselves, we will have taken a step in our evolution. It then stands to reason that we have evolved enough to not make the same mistakes twice. But fuck, even if we do, at least we fucking tried! It cant be much worse than this. Other than those who have attached their egos and identities to material goods, we really have nothing to lose in this either. But we stand to gain so much.

You stumped me on this question lol. It took me all day to think of a good response that wouldn't make me sound like an idiot. Though its hard to say if I've succeeded 🤣
