Don't know about the best but it's right up there. That 2nd 450 moto was insane, bunched up and there was battles everywhere.
That sold out stadium got real noisy which added to the action.
I need more of that but we gonna have to hang dry until Jan 26.
YES !!!!
From the YouTube video I watched I wish I was there the whole time event looked insane and levels up on previous years racing
That racing must have got the WSX investors pretty excited. Here's hoping they invest more and build it up to something great.
We will always have the AMA SX series and the WSX is perfect for the off season
Winner for all us fans.
Going back to your original post, the racing had me pretty worked up...

Some of the best racing for sure when we only talk about SX and not even a full field. Definitely up there with San Diego and Daytona this year.
Though I'm kinda bummed Kenny and the other wildcards are out now, the field and racing won't be the same for the last two rounds sadly.
Exactly. Tomac, Ken, Webb, Deegan..all gone for the last two. That's gonna leave a deep hole and is a real blow to the series.
The last round is here in my city and all the dudes are bummed that there is no Tomac and Ken. It was their one and only opportunity to see these guys race in person.
Best racing I've watched since the 2022 MX outdoor championship.
It is perfect for the off season....but they are planning to start in the summer which is a terrible idea.
Yes it was! The short lap races provide great sprint lap racing. 20min+1 seems to have developed into everyone kinda falling into “their” position and staying there. Also it seems that the tracks aren’t getting as beat up which allow the track builders to maintain it better between races. I like it.
It’s amusing for the crash and burn, bang! bang! excitement the racing provides. But it’s a cheap thrill and it fades quickly. Internationally I think 12 rounds is a good total between sx and WSX. As @Sandberm656 said in another thread, the track seemed like 2’ wider than normal and I have to think that played a big role.
sx just can’t provide the absolute beauty and amazement that watching these dudes on a seriously rough and scenic motocross track can.
I’ll take motocross any day but I want to see it on tracks like Namur, old school Hawkstone, and Unadilla and moto-x 338 before they gentrified.
Yea that was an amazing night of racing. To have your red plate holder not be able to race the last 2 races though is craziness. They def still have some kinks going on. Lewis talked to ken and asked why he wasnt racing the last 2 and ken didnt even know why and said he wanted to. Idk how they cant get something worked out. Either way this year has been much better than years past so far.
Videos pulled
some of those wider sections of track helped alot!
Orrr…. It’s wise… Kenny walking away is boring like Jett walking away at AUSX was…
Let’s year AusX was epic with DW and HL going down to the wire for the win…
moving forward I’m hoping for some epic JL, Savatgy and Craig battles. With hopefully a little Aranda in there… could still be great racing
It was great but San Diego this year was my favorite
No, good racing but definitely not best of year. Listening to Roczen and seeing Tomac's fumbles on the dustbowl and funky rhythm sections make me think if the track had been properly watered it would have been better. Roczen complained about it in the post race interviews though he did acknowledge it wasn't watered due to rain concerns and watering in-race would have produced an ice-rink so you were left with dust. So dry these guys were spinning and underjumping rhythm sections. Maybe that made the position swaps (due to top tier rider errors) more exciting as more weird stuff happened but I didn't like it as much.
LOL. Not even close. And the lack of track prep made the track more dangerous than raceable.
I don't mean to be controversial here, but if you zoom out:
Who cares about the opinions of the riders. Assuming the track is "safe", the tricky conditions and the fumbles is what made it exciting. If the track was perfect, chances are it could have just been another normal, good race, but not as exciting as we witnessed?
Pit Row
Did anyone get injured ?
It seems the fuel issues is the bigger problem and hopefully, since it has been identified it will be dealt with next year.
TBH the series has proven that it is deserving of high level industry sponsorship and hopefully a fuel sponsor comes on board to supply this.
