Looks like the rumours were true, MXGP GB will be at Foxhills.

Can't see how this is possible tbh, as it's up for sale? Not to mention it's worn through to bedrock and completely trashed, or it being a single lane road in and out, and tight for space in the current "must have infrastructure" mindset.

I really hope I'm wrong and someone's come in with a ton of cash and a few million tons of new dirt, but I can't see this being real, surely..? 🤷

Being up for sale is not an issue for the Luongos.  Every race on their schedule is tentative until it actually happens.  If it gets sold they'll just move the GP to Italy.🤣

Can it be worse than going to race round car parks? 

Still no official word who is the promotor yet, and at the NEC show, nobody who i spoke too who would have known, knew who it was . 

Its a good chance to do a 3 GP holiday , Foxhills to Loket, and Lommel on the way back, in 2 weeks, and back to work Monday morning, for 1 return ferry crossing. 

I guess we will find out, enough people have been screaming about getting the classic tracks back, it can be sorted, if they have enough support, financial and fan wise. 

A Matterley sized crowd in there will be excellent.  

Remember how much it rained at VMxDN last year on the saturday, and it was perfect on the sunday .

The usual British optimism shining through. The VMX race held there is huge so I'm thinking the size of the circuit/grounds isn't an issue. I was there in 98 and I don't remember it being cramped. As for weather,  if that's an issue then GB should never get a GP. Would that be better?

And as for the soil, I heard the guys on the GP circuit are pretty fair riders...they'll figure it out. 

Agree the best of the dirt is worn away, but why does that matter? 

Dont we want to see the best riders tackle the most tricky terrain?
