From MotoXphotography.com, Only guy (or gal) I've seen using Tilt-Shift technique in MX. Does anyone know of any MX Tilt-Shift video's? I've added a Tilt-Shift video of "Drifting", below so you can see what the effect is, in motion. Try watching until the track action starts. I think it would make MX or SX look really great.

My guess is you could pretty easily do the video one using a mask and filters.

The small apparent depth of field (and possible the saturated colours) make the subjects look like models.

Very easy to do in After Effects. Can be a very effective technique although it can be overused very quickly..just like HDR photography.

Used it a bit in this video for Schaefer Tracks:

Here is some tilt-shift I did at St. Louis SX this year. I shot with a 24mm for the wide stadium shot and the 85mm for the action shots. It was interesting and looks really cool, but I agree it can be over done just like hdr photography. Hope you enjoy. I've been waiting for someone to use it in video, but at $1500+ for a tilt shift lens, it would be hard to justify the cost as a videographer unless you shot a lot of landscapes/architecture.

I'm a fan of Tilt/shift is it's used in the right situation. Making things look like models is pretty neat.

very cool pic. I used to hate the Tilt/shift photo stuff, but they have really started to grow on me
