Wow, Barcia looked great last night on the 450.
He won one scratch race, finished second twice and then went on to win the main event with a wire-to-wire win.
But in todays first practice session, he crashed hard...I will check his condition soon.
Michael Byrne is in a Paris hospital awaiting surgery on a broken and dislocated wrist...his solo crash was ugly.
Gautier Paulin will be racing tonight after crashing on the first lap of the final into a display truck parked close to the finishline.
AC222 says he will race round 3 and 4 of the US SX series (LA and Oakland) because, "I am still not ready and need more time."
Greg Aranda who is impressive in SX says he will NOT race any US SX in 2011, but plans to in 2012.
Blake Wharton had a scary crash as well last night, but he is good-to-go for tonight.
Sebastian Tortelli was telling us stories of when he was a kid and came to Bercy. "It's is like your Anaheim 1 and is the biggest SX race in Europe. I won the Prince of Bercy title one time." (125cc class)
more in a bit......

This just in on Barcia and his big crash...."I'm all good, I'm fine, but the bike got all tore up!"
Schnikey is working away to get it ready for their second practice in just a few minutes.
JB17 only did maybe 3 or 4 laps before the crash.

Ouch! Hope they figure a safer way to display sponsor vehicles/boats, etc. I cringed when I see them in USSX near things like...the whopps. Get well GP!
Was so great to see him ride. Best Bercy sx in years in my opinion ( too bad for all the injurys)
