that corner speed was way sweet. the sound of the corner speed was as good as the visual. good inspiration going on there.

Who was that on the Yamaha? I saw a lot of local North Florida and South Georgia tracks in that video.

What a marketing strategy, give vital what they wanted for a long time now, a 125 just singing. That'll create some buzz! (excuse the pun)

Yeah, that is the best 125 video I have ever seen, and I love watching small bore two stroke vids !!

Didn't it just look fun?
99.99% of us are never going to be pros or never were.
We should all just by used 2 strokes at the local level and ride those. Sure, if you are hardcore and very serious to move up the ranks then go with the latest greatest.

I hardly ever post but that video just made me want.............

Happy to hear!

Met Jimmy twice during my stay in California and he's a really cool guy with LOTS of talent. Hopefully he can get some more support soon!

And 3500 plus hits here alone. Powers that be.....Oh Powers that be..... are you listening?

Went out to three Palms in Houston this weekend for the old school reunion gig and of course the overwhelming majority of vintage and post vintage bikes were two strokes but more importantly, a good portion of the modern bikes were two strokes as well. I didn't think the ratio of 2/4 would be that high. Impressive.

As much as I may seem like the 2 stroke antichrist, I agree with you.

I like when the Supercross announcer intros Jimmy.(JIMMY DECOTIS) So funny to hear him say that after listening to local announcers talk him up during the race!

And I may just have to put Dan's bike back to a 125 just for those open races up there in Maine!

Both my boys run small bore two strokes & it does sound AWESOME!!!

Video thread of the year. Watching Jimmy dust 450's on a decade old 125 made me change my mind on what bike to buy this year. Forget tech. It's about the fun and aggresion.

Oh shit, is someone going to vote with their wallet and buy a used 125? Wink You'll never get your point across to the OEM's by letting their 4 bombers continue to collect dust on the showroom floors. LOL

Newmann I will one up that and buy a 2011 KTM150 if I can't find what I want. Minds made up. I'm doing this sport for fun like I did 10 years ago. Way over "pro envy" buy what the pros ride bs. Im not a pro and I know I had more fun pre four stroke. Leave the high tech, high dollar stuff for the guys who don't pay for it themselves. I miss doing a top end, filter, chain prep, tire change in 2 hours on a saturday night before a race. Last 4 banger top end took me 2 days and I will never do it again.
At first, like many of us, the 4 stroke was sooooo much better. You could be lazy and smooth with the same lap times. Along the way the fun of wringing the shit out of a motor, the sound , the smell, the challenge of staying on the pipe, etc was gone.
Motocross to me is more than lap times. It has to be fun. When was the last time you laughed your ass off while racing with your buddy?
