After listening to Pulpmx today with Eric Peronnard talking about the Paris SX and SMX, WSX .

It got me thinking is the future of SMX a round in Paris, Abu Dubai (Lewis Phillips credit) and then Aus at Marvel stadium?

Would be more of a world championship than just USA.

I do think the US audience is a bit saturated by the time the finals roll around. If they removed one SX and one MX and went to 5 rounds for finals I could see having two or three elsewhere. Maybe Paris, Aus, and ?. Would certainly add to the exposure. Or, if 3 rounds, do Paris, Aus, and finish in Vegas (stadium). That might be better than drag race tracks.

MOCK SMX SCHEDULE that makes it an "actual" world championship. 10 SX, 10 MX, 5 SMX. The shorter schedule allows for travel time for international travel. Double moto format year-round - replace triple crown with double points rounds. The cities are more filler, but well-known stops. The idea is to include some international stops while maintaining a higher number of US stops. I think starting out, it would be better to have 1 or 2 international rounds per series to gauge responses

10 SX

1- US 1 - Anaheim

2 - US 2 - San Diego

3- US 3 - Seattle

4- International 1 - Paris (double)

5 - International 2 - England

6- International 3 - Canada

7- US 4 - East Rutherford

8 - International 4 - Australia

9 - US 5 - Denver

10 - US 6 - SLC

10 MX (keep Red Bud july 4 weekend, and other historic tracks would stay - sprinkle in a few legendary international tracks)

1-  US 1 - Hangtown

2- US 2 - Thunder Valley

3 - US 3 - Red Bud

4- International 1 - Lommel

5 - international 2 - Matterley Basin

6- international 3 - Italy (Maggiora, Trentino, etc)

7- US 4 - Unadilla

8- US 5 - Southwick

9- US 6 - Washougal

10 - US 7 - Ironman

SMX

1- US 1 - Daytona

2 - international 1 -  Paris

3 - international 2 - Australia

4 - US 2 - Kansas City Speedway. (this is personal because I'm from the area and want a round here....)

5 - US 2 - Vegas

Taking Millville out and leaving thunder valley is hilarious.

FELD is NOT footing the bill for all that travel / logistics.

Dude I like where your head is at but this is like an idea of a rough draft quality work.

The French getting a repeat round and not the US actually makes me mad.

I would be happy if they just turned smx into the grand national championship/ overall champion rider with most sx, mx and smx points is the overall champ.

honestly moto is a sport where a playoff system is not even warranted cause the way the shit is ranned , its not even wht a post season system is ,  no racing athlete gets eliminated till mathematically the last rd which a true playoff system every rd a team or another example  a tournament in tennis a athlete gets eliminated after rd 1 , 2 , 3 & so on so on, just run the the regular racing championship circuits & call it a season
