This was all so hush hush when they came to us 5 years ago...but they never pulled the trigger really and they seemed quite serious. Maybe now is the time. They were great to deal with and I wish them well.

......just because they slap (glue...not stitch) a JT logo to the back of a pair of "leathers" doesn't make it JT.
JT was more than a product.....it was a life style......heart and soul went into every design....every minor detail was pondered over and looked at from every angle .. Everyone there lived, breathed and dreamed the MX life!....It's hard to explain but it was soooo much more than just MX gear.....we were a family. John & Rita were JT racing....it was their blood, sweat and tears that went into the JT name........you cannot duplicate something that is not tangible.

Dude! Those of us that know of JT have our own relationship with the memories of what they were, for us to wear JT in the future is to communicate with others that have similar memories of past great times.

I just polished off a double Crown Royal with 7-Up. It was delicious--very satisfying. But, now I'm feeling a bit introspective and asking, "should I really be fucking up a good glass of Crown Royal by adding a sugary, carbonated beverage?" I dunno.....maybe I'm over-analyzing shit here, but the thought does seem to merit some reflection.

Anybody seen any preliminary designs for the new JT? Lighting?

I love that pic, every time you post it. From the understated sophistication of the JT gear, to the iconic '81 YZ 125 (with the prerequisite cool add-on number plate). Glory days of MX.

Thanks. My parents rarely came to the races but when my dad showed up, he brought his trusty Canon AE-1 and shot some pretty good stuff. Wish I had more from that period.

What is the track? From the background it looks vaguely like Burlseon.
