Roadtrippin’ to Ironman MXdN and hoping for advice: Any moto tracks open for practice in Nebraska or Iowa, this Tuesday - Thursday? (9/23-9/25)
Hitting Spring Creek on the 27th but need some throttle therapy to break up the drive! Ideas, input, and suggestions are appreciated 👍
Sandy corners MX in Ionia, Iowa is open 7 days a week but usually has a prepped practice on Wednesday afternoons and weekends. Check out their Facebook page and I can let ya know if he makes a post Tuesday night in the skid getting it ready.
Meadow Valley, just down the road from Millville about 2 miles, is also open 7 days and that place is sweet.
If you’re still around Sunday, Woodland MX in New Hartford, IA has just reopened for the fall and that’s a loooong lap time flowy fun track.

If you end up in north east Indiana at all, I have a small jump filled course, and there’s few other decent private tracks around me as well.
If you end up near Chicagoland looking for a riding spot on those days Joliet MX tends to be open during the week at least once, usually Thursday evenings. Every so often Sunset Ridge does Wednesday during the day rides as well

NATEP231: Please keep me posted regarding Sandy Corners MX. Wednesday fits into the schedule perfectly, as Saturday Spring Creek and Sunday Meadow Valley was the original plan.
Adding to the fun, any ideas for 9/30 - 10/2? Hoping to be close to Ironman by Thursday, and coming down from Spring Creek/Meadow Valley leaves us wide open
Yes they will be prepped Wednesday as long as these storms coming in don’t screw it up! I’ll try to see if I can cut out of work early and head up too.

Sounds good! Place has been around for a long time and Jim is a great guy. He’s done so much work on it since the early 2000s. Hope you liked it, mad I’m so swamped with work and couldn’t make it!
Jim’s absolutely awesome and Sandy Corners MX was a blast! Got to meet local rippers Dan and Jason who are top-notch as well. Onto Spring Creek and Meadow Valley, then heading MXdN direction…
LTMX! (Leisure time motocross) it’s an all sand track, REALLY rough during the week (prep only on Saturday) but it’s great practice 💪🏽 they’re open sun up to sun down.shouod only br about an hour from crawfordsville I think?
