If the AMA advances this year's new rules to the pro class for next year, maybe that'll create demand for the smokers again. I really enjoyed riding mine today, even though it bucked me off.

I wish I had a time machine so I could go back to 2001 when the first yamaha yz250f came out and somehow got the AMA to allow a 144 or 250 2 stroke to race against 250 four strokes... and see if that made a difference in the life-cycle for the 2 strokes here in 2008.

a year...for the 125 250 2stroke and 2 years for the 85 65 2strokes...Sad

It really sucks. After riding the smoker, I have no desire to ride those overweight converted street bike 4-strokes.
